Stats Before and after - what the Atlanta game did to Dak

Does not bother me at all I don't concern myself on if someone else was impressed of not. Philly had injuries Dallas had 6 players out themselves and?????
Lol, are you trying to compare their injuries to ours? I’m saying they had many more injuries and they were much more significant for the reasons I’ve already stated. I’m starting to feel like you’re arguing a moot point for the sake of arguing or you have a reading comprehension problem. Let me know when you figure it out though I doubt I can be any more clear.

I'm saying we have had key players out on the OL Pro Bowl center and another OL starter down, Pro Bowl LB, DT Irving and Collins key members on the defensive front out. So yeah I will compare why the hell not. I did not go into the Philly game crying that our defensive front is racked with injuries and still is. I can comprehend very well and yes Philly had injuries so do we and what you feel is meaningless injuries for Dallas only proves you don't know Jack. You want to come in here and cry a river for Philly fine, you want to knock Cowboys winning be my guest I really do not care and the more I come here I really do not care what many here think, it is the same crap of slamming this team on a daily basis

Where did I say they were meaningless? Did I ever say I felt bad for Philly? IMOF, I specifically said I was happy we won but not as impressed as others. Just like if we beat the Packers or NE without Rodgers or Brady I wouldn’t be as impressed.

I hate debating with people like you because you make things up that I never said. And obviously you do care what others think because you’ve been going back and forth with me half the day, even after I said your opinion was respectable and we just disagreed on one aspect. Stop accusing me of saying things I never said and just put me on ignore since you allegedly don’t care what I think (nor do you understand it).

Then stop responding, You responded to me. You were not impressed by the win great I'm glad for you. You go off on well philly had injuries and I responded so do we and still do, our DL is hurting but they are still expected to go out and produce. If they lose to Atlanta no one is going to give a damn

I don't give an expletive about the stats I saw the game. He wasn't close to good in that game. Stats need to verify what was saw on field not on their on tell the story. You go peddle that junk to some fantasy nerd but it doesn't work on me.
Puuuullllease, give an expletive? Just write it out, the filter will catch it. You're ruining one of my reasons for being here, guessing the expletives.

I think Linehan is going to **** the bed but at least we're having tasty home made Korean food during the game. Not to mention I get to needle my sister's 3 kids, which is one of my favourite things to do!

I’m not the one who has said several times “I don’t care what you think” yet continue to argue. Do you understand the disconnect there?

I disagree. It's all on the player to mentally recover. It's up to the coach to create the environment and system for them to perform. Getting the yips is not a coaching issue - it's a player issue.
I disagree. If the coach keeps putting the player in position to get killed in every game there aren't anyone who can survive a repeated beating.

Playing devil's advocate here, I don't think that Prescott has been left in a position to get killed in every game since Atlanta. Yes, in Atlanta Garrett and Linehan did a god awful job of adjusting to the fact that Chaz Green has the lateral ability of a sloth, but in the subsequent games, there wasn't the degree of dereliction of duty like there was in Atlanta. Prescott just has the yips when he feels pressure. That's on him (and his shrink) to correct.

The fact is he had that same issue at Miss St., that was the game plan from the better D's, get to him early and disrupt his concentration. But Dak has plenty of company because I've seen few QB's that didn't affect. Except Deshaun Watson, the guy will stand there until the pocket has collapsed on him.

And it's not just getting hit that bothers them, it's not being able to step into their throws of follow through for fear of wrecking their passing hand on a helmet or tipped balls or fumbles. Dak can get some happy feet. I'd just curl up in the fetal position and beg for mercy.

People like to point to last year's Atlanta game as the fulcrum point when things changed for Dak. I disagree with that notion but it's pointless either way. If your QB is shook then he's no good. Can this franchise afford to wait another season or more to see if he returns to 2016 form? I say no.

I clearly remember watching Chaz Green get destroyed play after play by the mediocre Adrian Clayborn and also watching in sheer disbelief as Garett just stood there clapping while his (at that time) 24 year old QB gets thrown around like a rag doll. And no adjustments were made until late 3rd qtr. Garrett should have been fired on the plane ride home.

For weeks after the Atlanta game, Nate Newton was saying "You don't let a young QB get hit like that." Nate knew.

It used to be common knowledge in the NFL that you could destroy a QB's career by putting him in situations where it was impossible to execute.

The Atlanta game exposed Daks weaknesses more. We realized how much he needed the All Pro talent around him. And he wasn’t going to elevate or carry our offense on his own as our prior QB had.
Dak might not be able to carry the team consistently on his shoulders like Romo used to, but Dak has shown the ability to do so several times in his 2.5 year career. The 2016 playoff loss to Green Bay comes to mind. Down 18 points (21 - 3) halfway through the 2nd quarter and the Defense allowing Green Bay to constantly score at will, Dak carried the Offense the rest of the way to tie the game at 31 - 31 with only 39 seconds left in regulation. Too bad the Defense once again gave up the winning FG to Green Bay as time expired.

There have been a few more games where Dak has carried the team on his shoulders, but obviously, it has been nowhere near what franchise record holder Tony Romo accomplished during his tenure.

Dak is no Romo, just like Romo is no Dak. They both have different qualities which has shown can lead to wins. I say with a better performing Oline and some weapons at receiver & TE, Dak can lead this team to many wins year in and year out.

I guess you didn’t watch the Bucs, lions and Packers games with your eyes though, again all after the lions and Vikings.

You’re right though. Facts rarely do work on ignorant, arrogant fools such as yourself.
Yep Dak rider add words and teams that have jack spit to do win any one of my previous post. Dak riders get soo stupid to prove y'all's point. When you show me what post speaks on the games besides the Vikings and Giants game you'd have a point. Until then your just another silly Dak rider that apparently can't read. Lastly up smart person in my last post I said you have to combine both things not just one to prove your point. How stupid are you that you can't understand me saying you need both stats and eye test not just one?

You might have a point if our offense isn't leading the league in giving up sacks. We are tied with the Gints terrible OL.
Prescott has issues with pressure but to say coaches are without blame is ridiculous. A good coach would know the strength and weakness of his players and try to help him by showcasing his strengths and hiding his weakness. And this isn't just with Prescott but with every player.

So if we get a quarterback coaching guru, best offensive line in the NFL, a great number one wide receiver and running back, and great tight end , oh and coach, Rush and White would be super stars too. That's what I get from all the excuses.

I was applauding Dak in a Signature win Sunday night in Philly. And he has shown some others like you mentioned in Green Bay playoff game.

But the point still remains the Atlanta game last year was more glaring of his weaknesses and the effects it has on our offense effectiveness and productivity.

No doubt like in most of his Rookie season when all the surrounding parts are in place he can be more effective. He needs more consistency and we can’t always rely on all these surrounding pieces in place. And this is all before we bring in trying to overcome our front office and coaching staff.

Remember Romo couldn’t overcome this dysfunctional organization . I’m not sure how we see Dak overcoming. That doesn’t mean it’s all his fault.

I argued for years I thought someone greater than Romo could elevate us more. And most would argue Romo was enough with a better team.

Cowboys are talent dependent. When we have more talent we are more competitive given our other handicaps mentioned and why IMO having a Qb with Daks abilities challenges our dysfunctional franchise even more.
