I agree, it shouldn’t matter much when a couple players are out but when close to 11 starters are out and an entire position group then that’s a different story.

Regardless, glad you’re not one of the ones alwaus making excuses. Agreed on the rest, lets just hope his uptrend continues for several games.

I don't blame refs, I don't blame injuries we get no quarter from others and I give no quarter. Injuries like bad calls are part of the game

I guess I should be more clear. I'm trying to think of someone in recent history who has taken a beating, gotten shell shocked and regressed, but ultimately recovered. Like you pointed out those guys have taken multiple beatings and kept playing at a high level. That's not the case with Dak.

Jim Plunkett. Rebounded from being left on the scrap heap after being beaten to a pulp in both New England and San Francisco, and won two Super Bowls with the Raiders.

Takes more talent than Chaz or Butler had. And a QB who adjust better as well. There’s plenty of blame to go around.
There isn't a QB in the world that could overcome Chaz Green......Houdini would've struggled.

There is only one to blame. The coach that Left Green in the game. Period.

I've been trying to think of an example of a QB who has recovered from a beating like that and gone on to be as good or better than they were... coming up blank.
11 times Troy Aikman, 9 Cam Newton,9 Ben Roethlisberger, 9 Matt Ryan,12 Warren Moon, many more, some can shake it off some it takes more time some never recover, only time will tell on Dak.

So he will be Dallas' Jim Everett or David Carr....

Not sure about why this needs to be recent, but, I'll play.

How about Kurt Warner? Was beaten up at the end of his Rams tenure, and after he was let go by the Giants, he was thought to be washed up. Went on to complete a HOF career by leading the Cardinals to the Super Bowl.

ball control football. the longer we have the ball, the less time falcons have the ball. a game by attrition. we need to put relentless pressure on ryan. long drives. move the chains. time of possession will be critical.
This is true.
And one of my concerns about playing the birds in their backyard is they avg 30 ppg at home, and our defense, while improved, hasn’t played many great offenses yet this year. This game Sunday will not only measure the offense in its ability to score, it will also measure our defense against a top ten offense.

Eh, that’s very respectable. As I said, for the most part I agree with the exception of extreme cases of injuries. I’m not even making excuses for them, to me, it just waters down our win and makes it much less impressive IMO. People act like they’re the same team they were last year, they’re clearly not aince have their starting roster was/is on IR or have missed several games.

I was lucky enough when I played sports to always have coaches who taught “no excuses”. The best coaches usually say, “Losers complain about the refs, winners find a way to overcome bad calls and bad breaks and win anyway.”

Control what YOU can control, worrying about anything beyond that will not win games.

Dallas had 6 guys out of the game as well and others who were banged up including Martin. Had Dallas lost no one would care about it so again why should anyone care about Philly? Yes they have injuries maybe they should do a better job of adding depth.

I agree. It was funny our coach would yell at the refs if we did he would tell us to shut our mouth. lol Bad calls and missed calls will happen but you got to play through it.

Dak has crap for talent that surrounds him. Until Cooper came and joined the party. So I would agree with you that he needs talent for sure.

I wonder if you also look at the top QBs in this league, you also notice they are surrounded by talent as well. Just like every QB in this league. So before you go ape crazy in your hatred on Dak, just to let you know ALL QBs, even the great ones, need talent all around them to succeed.
True but the greater ones need less supporting cast surrounding.

And I resent my criticism of Dak being labeled as hate.

I never said I cared about them, I said the total amount of injuries they have and respective to specific skill positions, I didn’t find our win as impressive as others. Sorry if that bothers you.

Well, you do nothing but blame everything on this team's misfortunes on Dak. If that does not hate then I don't know what is.

As for QBs being great, football is a team sport. ALL QBs still need a supporting cast. None of them can't function without one. If Dak is judged for having a supporting cast then all QBs should be judged the same way also.
