They should be more concerned about letting him back in game. Irresponsible

Cowboys unhappy with missed facemask on Dak, phantom offsides call that negated a turnover, missed offensive pass interference that gave NO a TD, etc, etc..

Keep crying, losers. We win!

It was phantom. Gregory was lined up in the neutral zone before the snap. He helmet was past the football.

But yeah, mostly agree with this.

They should be. It was a totally blown call.

The officiating was definitely in Dallas favor tonite. The last interference call to close the game was iffy too especially in that situation with basically an uncatchable ball.

How was the officiating in Dallas' favor?

First of all, that last interference was a text book PI. The DB grabbed Cooper's left arm which is why Cooper tried to catch it one handed. Even the FOX ref analyst said that any time a guy tries to make a one armed catch and the defender grabs the other arm, it's PI.

They did miss the Kamara helmet to helmet. And they did blow the Beasley first down where he was clearly short. But the refs blew the facemask to Dak on that last drive and also missed the OPI on the Saints only TD.

His head was not past the football.

The only argument that can be made on that play is that the center moved the ball back thus the line of scrimmage was a bit ahead of where the ball actually was and Gregory's helmet was in the neutral zone. But his head was not past the football.

When they showed it from the sideline, his helmet was clearly over/passed the football.

They should be but my gosh that was some bad officiating.

I’m sure Dallas isn’t happy about watching the defender grab Daks face mask and turn his neck sideways either.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAD ON... hey, they got away with a bunch of shoddy plays, a blatant PUSH OFF in the end zone for their only TD... who missed that play.

That’s the impression I had because the calls that went in our favor were at more critical times in the game IMO.

Like I said earlier , in that situation to end the game that call could have been let go. I didn’t think it was that blatant.

At the snap? There are multiple screen shots around now of the snap. It clearly shows Gregory's head wasn't past the ball. The argument to be made is that Gregory lined up in the neutral zone and then the center moved the ball, thus giving the impression Gregory was onsides when he wasn't.

Are you stating that as soon as he lined up, before the center moved the ball, his head was past the ball? That could be the case, as I haven't seen any screen shots right as Gregory lined up.

How is grabbing the arm of a WR where he can only try to make a one handed catch, not blatant? He actually had both hands on his arm.

That's about as textbook a PI penalty as you will find.

the game was pretty even with either bad calls or missed calls, there no real excuse..the cowboys were nice to not go for that final score and rub it in.. after hearing all the griping I wish we would, those point differentials might be needed for alater tie breaker..

One thing about Jaylon, when he has a straight-line shot at a player, he knocks the snot out of him.

Speed, violence, & ferocity-- a lethal trifecta for a LB.

And the Cowboys are upset that the refs missed a clear push off on the Saints only TD and a clear facemask on Dak on our last big drive.

So quit your whining NO.
The difference is the face mask didn’t end the game. If it had then we’d be outraged. And the push off was so ever slight and early in the game.

My issue is unless it’s a blatant infraction it shouldn’t be called if it potentially changes the outcome of the game. Which the Interference call ends the game.

Yeah, when the official Fox officiating analyst mentions that is the league's #1 staff and they're not having a good night, you know he's underplaying it but has to address it. That was a very poorly officiated game and they missed the obvious push off on Brown for the Saints only TD. So Gregory's gaffe would have been nullified if they'd made the right call. His offsides was also questionable, he'd been lining up like that all night and I've seen plenty of DE's do that and not catch a flag.

The key to that missed targeting call is league generated. All of that was chin boogie music for the media and those with player safety concerns and they've been looking the other way on those calls in every game I have watched. Had that been the QB, they call it but they're not making that call on a RB. However, Jaylon must be wary, he's now on the radar for the officials, he better keep that head up.

The surprising thing about that non call was Aikman's comment that the officials had already backed off on making them. He shone a light on something the league would rather keep in the dark. They do not want to slow the game down any more than it already is with those calls. Although, I did notice they missed opportunities for some more jewelry ads.

So it was raining pretty hard where I live. I have directv and can you believe the reception went out during this drive?!? I jumped online as quickly as I could and came in after the play occurred. It’s probably a good thing because I might have lost it.

The majority of responses in this thread are a perfect demonstration of why conspiracy theorists aren’t really concerned about poor officiating, but rather just those calls (or missed calls) that don’t benefit the Cowboys.

If your response to the missed helmet-to-hemet is “well, what about this missed call....” or “well it makes up for this call against the Cowboys” you lose all credibility and show your own agenda driven bias.

The issue last night was poor officiating ALL AROUND. I can guarantee you right now your counterparts on SaintsZone are having these same type complaints about the league trying to supposedly screw them.

Woods smacked their tight end too. They are just soft. They talked big but did nothing. Their linebackers were hitting Zeke though
