Give me a break on the Goeddert call. How about the offensive PI that went uncalled on the LVE pick play?

They played almost 5 more minutes of regulation, still scored a TD, and then an entire OT period.

Dallas got blasted with crap calls too. The refs missed calls both ways. In other news, the Pope is Catholic.

At some point you just have to win the game.
IF you call that a OPI then the Beasley pick that got Cooper open for a 1st down was OPI also.

To be fair, they have a point with that one. On that play, no one talks about Woods helmet to helmet hit on him that popped Goeddert's helmet up.

Someone needs to show the rook how to tighten his chin strap his helmet came off again on a regular tackle.

What is so bad about that opening kickoff? I missed it.They said it was a fumble right, but just couldn't find any proof on who recovered it? Like... Was there clear proof that Philly had recovered it or what?

I just find holding onto that a bit ridiculous unless I'm missing something which I'm perfectly willing to accept if I am.

There were only Philly players around the ball and one of them came out of the pile with it.

Whether it's the speed of the game, or the increased amount of rules, or whatever, no doubt the officials are doing a poor job.

And since they seldom remove rules, only complicate them, it's not likely to get better.

But I don't care what they say (and it may be unintended) refs do "make up" for bad calls with another bad call. Happens to all teams.

One of the holding calls on Smith was silly, he used the same technique he uses most plays. And I don't agree there was no "clear recovery" on the initial fumble, how could any Dallas player recover the ball when the nearest one was 3 feet away from the ball? Nobody's arms are that long, lol.

And neither was at the end of the game, so there's no way of knowing if either would have changed the outcome. On the fumble, since the iggles had problems getting into the end zone all game, that fumble might have only led to a philly field goal, 3-0 at the beginning of the game is not hard to overcome.

Again, unless it's a bad call on the last play or on the last drive by a team trying to win, can't say a bad call lost the game, too many possibilities with time left on the clock.

Just glad we were able to pull this one out, about time we got some of those lucky bounces like the Giants and Patriots have gotten, too bad this wasn't the SB...

Hey Philly fans, want some cheesesteak with that wine?

Fixed.

I went to Philly once. Every other guy was wearing a wifebeater, my cheesesteak was better in Missouri, and they charged admission at Benjamin Franklin's grave.

lol, you clowns never give it a rest.

HUGE win, Dak puts up monster numbers, leads the team down for a TD in overtime but you can't get over yourselves for a few hours and celebrate before you start agreeing with the opposing teams opinions of the team they just lost to.

I want Dak to be a great QB. He isn't right now. Fortunately he does have a knack for playing well in crunch time.

The problem is that in many cases he is the reason it comes down to the final series being do or die. We should have had another two to three scores and the game should have been out of reach long before OT.

He isn't making up for other player's mistakes...he is making up for his own. The first int was a simple throw over the top and he didn't put it out there. Should have been a gimme. He had a clean pocket and yet he still threw the ball falling back instead of using his mechanics to make an on target throw.

He missed a wide open Gallup twice, and some people are saying Gallup slowed up on the second one. The ball was thrown out of bounds if I recall, so it didn't matter if the receiver slowed up. There were other throws that were gimme's but he made receivers make circus catches when they were wide open. There were a few amazing catches.

The game winner very easily could have been a pick six the other way....it was a lucky bounce.

Without the win, everyone would be complaining about Dak keeping the Eagles in it.

Lucky bounces are a part of most teams playoff runs and even Superbowl wins.

They DO have a point. They got screwed a couple of times. We did too. Actually, we had twice as many penalties. Plus, we overcame 3 Dak turnovers to beat a desperate division rival. Good win, but I worry about Dak in the playoffs against really good teams.

If the calls and miss calls the Eagles got happened to us this board would be in a complete uproar. Refs being bad has been a common theme for years it’s the biggest issue that needs resolve in the league imo.
It tells you a lot that all these televised games need league officials to clarify rules or give their opinions on if the calls were good or not. It is a joke.

I don't want to hear it right now. You want to talk about Dak on Wednesday, fine. Maybe even Tuesday.

But Victory Monday? No, Sir.

I don't want to hear anyone complaining about the team, right now. They sucked early this year and it was painful to watch. Now we're finally winning, but some of you guys want to ruin it for everyone with endless complaining.

Meh, I am elated with the win. I am elated that he was able to pull it out...but even the last throw is the epitome of why peipeo aren't sold on him.

I talk about the good, and the bad. They both are relevant.

And for the record, I am loving the way things are panning out. With the injuries we have had, this team would have folded in the past. Not now...they truly seem to have a best man up attitude. It is inspiring. Probably Garrett's best coaching effort since he has been here.

They have a bit of a beef with the refs. That fumble was awful.

But they are also full of sour grapes saying we aren’t that good, etc. LOL. Love it.

By rule, the officials called it correctly, though. Pereira did a good job of explaining the ruling before it was even made.

However, I absolutely hate that officials don't follow every fumble to the conclusion of it before making their ruling of whether the player was down. I remember several games where we caused a fumble and returned it for a TD only to have the TD disallowed because the whistle has blown.

I guess that's one of the downsides to player safety, though. If the officials had not called Lewis down, then they would have followed the ball and knew for sure that Philly recovered it. As is, there was a mass of bodies there with no clear recovery and at last one Cowboys getting in there late to gum up the works.

Dak overthrew Gallup 2 times, not 3. Gallup slowed down halfway through his route on one of those throws.

I don't think he would have had a shot at that pass even if he had not slowed down. It was thrown out of bounds. Maybe if he had been able to attack it at its peak, but it wasn't going to be an easy catch no matter what, from what I remember.

Please. Woods clearly led with his shoulder not his head. People like you need to learn that it’s launching yourself with the crown of the helmet that is a penalty. Not shoulder tackling and having your face bump another players facemask that is a penalty. You can clearly see Woods shoulder and elbow come up and his head makes incidental contact.

Stop crying every time 2 guys helmets touch each other.
This is not launching or leading with the crown of the helmet.

So it's okay to hit someone in the head or neck area even if you just use the shoulder? Hmmm. You better recheck that. And this was clearly his helmet causing that action.
