Sorry I never thought Linehan was a genius. Never. Witten and Dez wasn't making the plays. It was Dak with an RPO play to Zeke that helped us score. Unfortunately, Linehan and Garrett probably removed that from the playbook entirely.
When we were winning by prolifically running the ball, if anything Linehan showed he was sub par, still going pass happy at very strange times and calling very strange plays at times.

Lol, people cry for innovation, unpredictability, and then turn around and ask for unpredictability....lol
They had damn near 10 men in the box. You weren't lining up and just sneaking it or powering it in.

Bull crap!!!!

Not so much, just didn’t execute and no respect for the pass by the defense helped the LBs sell out on run 100%
Disagree.

Colts were set up to stop this play and we ran right into their teeth. I don't buy the no execuation excuse even a little bit.

It’s 4th and 1 and the offense is lined up overloaded to one side with the leading rusher in the backfield. Of course they would play run across the board.

...that was just a bad day, left N right. Nothing worked, its almost like the team was jinxed getting there.

A Fullback dropping a pass in the end zone. Horrrrrid red zone play calling leading to Zeke putting the ball on the ground.. A blocked FG. Bad pass after bad pass by Bad-Pass Day. An unprepared team that should have stayed on the plane. When you Add that to the undisciplined play, and refs who were willing to expose that, and you have one big "Jinx"

Pretty hard to determine who was supposed to block Hunt there...looked to me like Looney tried to get out to the 2nd level too quick and wiffed on his 1st assignment. Hunt was lined up to Looney’s left, don’t see how you give your RG a blocking assignment 2 gaps away. But either way you kinda just have to give credit to Hunt on that play, it was a nice stutter step move and he has some serious quickness for a guy that size

Williams was just suppose to cross Hunt's face.

Maybe Dak yelled, "kill, kill, kill" and changed to this. LOL

Even trickery doesn't work.

They should have overloaded the left. In not doing so they really didn't fool anyone. Just another case which Linehan thinks is smarter than everyone else.

What difference does it make if it's right or left...lol

I can see our players execute the play...

Running Zeke through the left weak side, while all blockers are in the right while being in the goal line mind you . The goal line stand doesn't permit such treachery a yard from the end zone, much less if your vanilla playbook is so predictable .

The colts defense knew how to read our horrible vanilla playbook, this was terrible play calling and playbook .

Genius? ... no, ... garrett/linehan ?, yes ...
ineptitude and playbook embarrassment at its finest .

Wrong , if Williams reach his man it's a great call , just like if Owale catches his pass, just as if Beasley catches it a few weeks back, just as if Dak hits Noah Brown a few weeks ago.

It wasn’t a terrible play call but the execution was terrible.

That’s why I have a problem with people calling Garrett out in this game. If Cooper catches the ball put in his hands that’s a touchdown. If Olewale catches the pass it’s a touchdown. If Looney makes this block on 4th and 1 it’s a touchdown.

The offense moved the ball but there was too many drops and way too many penalties.

The game day coaching was fine. The game plan was fine. The execution was horrid.

I’m willing to write this off as an anomaly. Trap game. Let’s see what happens this week.

Broaudus explains it, essentially the play is supposed to suck the defense into the trip TE and Zeke is supposed to sneak in through the weak side between smith and sua. And imo it’s a good play design. Just bad execution the defense knew Dallas was running 100% and Dallas thought they could run that play at this point 100% boy was Dallas wrong. In My teams defense it takes some balls to run this play at that point and had they been able to get it would have show the colts this run game done f around

We'll well well

What was the DT a gap stunt call? Coupled with SLB 1st STEP?

Playing GAP responsibility ..... Hum

I will help you as long as you help me with 4th and 17 and they throw a screen-like pass to ....wait for it....Hurns?????

It's like the beginning of Infinity War, Loki is talking to Thanos and says "We have Hulk(Hurns)" and then Thanos, promptly beats him down.

Whining about what??? Only about people like you. I'm waiting for you to stab Dak got snubbed in the pro bowl voting

Whiner and complaining for years, just leave and find a new team. What the definition of insanity? You've been whining and complaining getting the same results.

Right guard, Right tackle, TE1, TE2... All on the right.. and you run a dive left on 4th & 1...So cute.. Shoot me now...

Bootleg?
RPO left or right?
Read option left?
RB at least takes one step right to sell it then left?
Anything?
Bueller????? Bueller????

Weak side I'm looking at 4 defenders and 3 blockers. If we block well, someone is still free. But we didn't block well.

The failure to use Dak as a running threat on goal line is a major missed opportunity. Read option left is one free defender versus two runners. Advantage offense. Takes a great play by that one defender or a failure by the blockers to lose that.

Linehan is the worst.

It was dumb. The size of Dak. Try the QB sneak. If Prescott doesn't use his legs more, then he needs to go. Because he sure as heck doesn't have the arm for the job...
