I'll just put this out for all of you beating this dead horse. Just who, why do you think Dak is weak or not a better QB? Do you numpties dump it all in th8s kids lap, or do you consider who is calling plays, plays btw thst are predictable as he'll and just plain suck. Also don't leave out he has Kellen Friggn Moore as a QB coach. Also don't forget the fact thus so called great o line of ours, has been owned damn near this whole season. No, Dak ain't no Brady or Rodgers, and I have my own reservations on him, but I'll be damned if I'll make claims that the stinky, anemic piss poor offensive play is all on him.
Of course it's not all on him, but I personally don't see how you can blame the play calling, when there are open receivers he either doesn't see or waits too long to throw to.

This team is 12-3 with an NFL-caliber quarterback.
Teams are practically begging us to throw deep.
But we really can't take advantage of the coverage because they KNOW Dak is inaccurate and uncomfortable throwing middle range and deep on a consistent basis.
What's sad is we have a team that can compete for the Super Bowl.
We've beaten the Saints, and we have their blueprint.
The Rams may have peaked.
The Bears are in a similar position as we are with Trubisky at qb.
The Vikings have Distant Cousin as quarterback.
And we have drink and dunk Dak.

The problem with threads like this is that they group warranted criticism with unwarranted dislike. Everyone who says anything critical of Dak is somehow a, "hater".

I like Dak, but I also recognize that he's a limited QB at this time. He's largely hit or miss.

The irony is that the OP-ED admits the QB's limitations. He calls him a bus driver and thats apparently good enough for some.

Agreed. We are a QB hitting open wrs away from a super bowl. Maybe Dak will get hot.

Only one QB this season has thrown for less against the Bucs defense

Lamar Jackson

Dak is severely limited as a passer.
He's a neat gimmick, change of pace guy. He's not a legitimate NFL caliber passer

Stating the obvious isn't "hating". Get over yourself
106 passer rating. 80% completions percentage. Result: a win.

Dak is a winner. 2nd NFC East Division Champions + playoffs in his first 3 seasons.

You are a loser.

....continue whining.

Because not you or any of us can SEE what he is in the pocket, oh sure we see a WR running open, but DOES Dak, or is he able with this oline letting dt's push them into the passing pocket. No I'm sorry, like I said have my reservations, but just because you see it on your 80" HD tv doesn't mean he can

Aikman was pointing them out pretty clearly today, and there was a thread earlier this week (which I can't seem to locate) in which the analyst was showing several against the Colts. I'm not talking about questionable plays. They were easily seen.

Dude, Aikman was all over it today. I get your not taking a board posters word for it, but if Troy says he's holding the ball too long and missing open wrs, that carries a lot of weight and should suffice..

Cooper's games outside of the two big ones with huge plays.

5 58 1
6 75 0
3 36 0
8 76 0
4 32 0
4 20 0

30 297 1

Avg 5 49.5 .16

Essentially 10 offensive pts today. 0 last week. 13 against NO. 14 against Ten. Low output through 3 quarters in most of the other games (wash the only exception - barely)

For the most part this offense is just as pathetic as it was before the trade.

I hate to say it, but so-called Dak "haters," as we call them, don't really know what they're talking about.

He's no gunslinger, like Romo was. But as much as I loved Romo, I'll take a busdriver for the things he does, like be sure of his read before he throws, than someone who has a gunslinger mentality.

Dak is an athlete. If you can't see that, you aren't looking. That alone makes him a credible threat to defenses.

Dak is young. He's in his third year. Some QBs never start until their 3rd or 4th year. That says something about his game.

Dak has led us to the playoff twice in his first two years. He's young, but he overcomes being young by being mature. And being an athlete. I like that about him.

Dak is clutch. Like it or not, he's clutch. His game speaks for itself.

He's gotten better as the season has gone on. That's all you can ask of a quarterback.

He wins.

Haters can hate all they want. But when you hate on a winner, that means you're probably a loser. Why else would the haters hate so hard?

All of you Uncle Ricos can take a hike.

We clinched the NFCE with one game left.

That's all Dak had to do, and he did it.

what's an "Uncle Rico"?

I swear on everything that I'm trying to support Dak, but it's hard to do at times. Watching other teams move the ball up and down the field makes me wonder why in the world does it seems like our offense outside of Zeke struggle majority of the time when they're out there...is it the QB, O-Line, Coaching, Play Calling, or a combination of all

3 Rings and a Gold Jacket, I'll take Troy's word for sure when it's the position that he played...and for the team that he played for.

Congrats to the Dallas Cowboys NFC east champs! They look like a really good team in most areas except one.

Dallas defense is top 5.
Dallas rushing game is top 5.
Dallas passing game is 24th ????????????????????

Dak really does seem like a winner but this whole 2nd half heroics thing is getting old. Don't look embarassing the first half and the "clutch QB" conversation never happens.

For the way this team wins games (defense and rushing), Dak is I think good enough. He tries to prioritize ball safety and almost never throws interceptions, he just needs to stop fumbling.

He's really not your all star QB, that's not him and that's not how Dallas wins and I'm cool with it. I think Dak has room to grow but I just don't see an amazing QB out there right now.

At least he does seem to have a knack for wins, he's doing just enough to let the strengths of the team carry him. I mean, Romo is about my favorite Cowboy ever but Dak is already catching up to him on playoff experience.

I think Trubisky would view this as a big insult! LOL
