Yea they measure things like clutchness with 4th quarter come backs which help the team win games. Where does Dak rank in 4th quarter comebacks? You don't have to answer I am being sarcastic....

All time or this year? Vs. The NFL or just Cowboys QBs?

This year he has 2 4QC. (This season Brees (6) Watson (5), and Goff (4) lead the pack with 12 tied at (3).

All time he has 7. (153rd all time)

Vs. Cowboys QBs:

Romo had 24 (17th all time vs NFL)
Aikman 15 (61st)
Staubach 13 (86th)
White 11 (98th)
Meredith 8 (132nd)

Not really understanding what you were being sarcastic about here.

Maybe you need to articulate your point differently - are you implying that Dak is elite because he’s started every game????
Elite, no.
In fact I have stared he is a mid-tier starter (but amazing value versus draft and cash outlay that has allowed you to win more than you did in final 5 seasons of Romo).

However starting 31 out of 31 games is an elite level of availability and setting qualifying bar at 30 makes the root point meaningless.
It's like saying "she is the least attractive Dallas Cowboys cheerleader"... ok ,and?
The dumbest law student in my class at Harvard.

The Giants fan that created this has a reason to cry.
His team sucks, his QB is 37 and they are paying him a fortune to lose games.
But this was a pulled out of his behind number he tossed together to suggest the NYG need to find a new QB.
He didn't need nonsensical numbers to make that point.
7 wins in 2 seasons says all you need to say.
Starting a 35+ year old QB making over 20M AAV to win 7 games in two season should be illegal.

Sorry but your wrong. Aikman actually was a QB who played in a 90's ball control timing based offense. Go back and watch the first SB . Do you even remember that playoff game against the niners. Aikman to Harper to ice the game. How about the SB against the bills? Aikman threw 4 TD's and won MVP.
Aikman was super accurate and was not dinker and dunker. The league was just different, the team was different. The passing game has never been more important than it is now.
All the experts used to mock the Bills / Atlanta, etc for using the run & shoot offense? The K-Gun..You remember that?

Dak is who he is. Middle of the pack guy, who should not be be paid 25 million a year.

Aikman was accurate short and medium, but couldnt throw the deep ball to save his life. He is in EXACTLY the same situation as Dak is. Ball control, run first offense. When the faded Aikman couldnt do squat. Without Emmitt, he couldnt even win a game. Aikman had it all around him and great coaching.

Dak is a good young QB that lost his Oline, has marginal pass catchers and has horrid coaching.

A guy like you just doesnt understand the game.

4QC -- Comebacks led by quarterback.
Must be an offensive scoring drive in the 4th quarter, with the team trailing by one score, though not necessarily a drive to take the lead. Only games ending in a win or tie are included.
GWD
▼ -- Game-winning drives led by quarterback.
Must be an offensive scoring drive in the 4th quarter or overtime that puts the winning team ahead for the last time.

Game winning drives is a better stat as they also measure because it includes OT and puts you ahead for good.

Dak is tied for 3rd with 4 game winning drives this season. Brees is first w 7.

Dak has been top 10 each of the 3 seasons he has been a pro.
He ranks 17th among all active QBs in only 3 seasons and he is already 108th all-time.

You just compared Aikman to Dak, just shows your IQ.
Please go watch YouTube, you might learn a thing or two.

Aikman's wins made up for his lack of stats. He played a ball control game and didn't stat pad.
Romo's stats and big plays made up (to many folks) for the fact he didn't win many playoff games.

Dak is far more similar to Troy and executes the offense as called, plays high percentage football and has both himself and Zeke as legit TD rush options to detract from passing stats.

When Dak doesn't turn the ball over we win. It's that simple. I could care less about someone wanting him to pass for 325 a week but turn it over more often.
23-1 is not a small sample size.
If he does not turn it over and we win.

Where does he rank in wins since he took over for Romo?
He's not on the list. Zeke is the focal point of the offense. WE all agree with that. Because of this, you can't count wins for Dak. Count them for the team or Zeke. Show Daks record without Zeke.

Hey, whatever helps your narrative I guess. The guy specifically stated 4th quarter comebacks so that's what I responded to.

Personally I think it's all foolish. What if the defense has a goal line stand to finish the game or pitches a 4th quarter shutout? The QB gets credit for a GWD even if they took the lead at the start of the 4th? Team sport. RB takes one 80 yards at the start of the 4th and that's a GWD or 4thQC? Nonsense.

Sorry I thought all Cowboys fans knew it was since Dak had been in the NFL. So the last 3 seasons to be clearer.

I will never learn anything from a laman like you. Aikman was a bus driver. That is a fact.

But feel free to show me where I compared Dak to Aikman. Other than their situation, the two QB's couldnt be more different.

If Aikman was on THIS team he would be lucky to still be alive.

I think he has room for improvement

Definitely, all the talkin' heads are stating ( and rightfully so) what a non threat we are gonna be in the post season, basing their assumption off of that fistful of 20's something offensive stats we're currently ranking at.

When will the Dak hating idiots get the one important point when it comes to stats, Dak is not being asked to carry the team for 60 minutes. He is asked to make some plays to keep drives going, be efficient, and don't turn it over. With that style in place he is not going to throw for 300-400 yards, with 3+ TDs very often. But the haters also lose sight of those drives before the half and at the end of games where he DOES take over the game and routinely goes 6-7 for 70 yards and gets us a score.
