The INTENT of your comparison is to somehow suggest that Dak may, could, probably is on par with Aikman.
That is LAUGHABLE.
If I could author a survey of current and former players and coaches in the NFL, likely NO ONE would select Dak over Aikman.

I've never said Dak never threw an accurate pass. But he CONSISTENTLY throws inaccurate passes, misses open receiver and refuses to let to of the ball, resulting in too many sacks.

As for your assessment of his job in the booth, you're welcome to your opinion just as you are with your absurd suggestion that Dak MIGHT BE more accurate than Aikman.
However, the fact that Aikman IS STILL in the top commentator/play-by-play position is an objective measurement that he is anything BUT a doofus.

The logic y'all use to defend Dak is funny. Nobody really means nobody can't develop something but after awhile you are what you are. That's what most people usually mean when saying you have it or you don't will in regards to most things. If you've been lifting for some time you can't your body can't keep getting dramatically better and that's the same with anything. Dak accuracy is what it is for the most part with some outlier stuff in between. Once you've been in the league for awhile with the top notch trainers you're about at the peak of your natural skills. That's not for Dak only but dang near everybody but as always it's always a few outliers.

It can be taught to some people, but certainly not everyone. There have been plenty of NFL QBs who didn't have enough accuracy to be or remain starters, even though they all had NFL coaches to teach them.

We are so lucky Dak's body has withstood the gamely beat down it has received this season due to getting sacked just about more than any previous Cowboys QB has in 1 season. We're not just talking sacks. And defenders can't hit Dak like they could Troy.

Do you realize in terms of in-game accuracy as far as what counts as a stat, Dak actually is more accurate?


The problem is, for those analyzing with their eyes only, is Dak is a little more susceptible to errant throws, at times, that should be easy throws.

Those stick out in your mind .

Scientifically speaking and from an evidential standpoint that is. Those stick out more even though we pass more nowadays and because we forget bad plays over time .

But theyre happening at a less frequency, actually.

When you pass so frequently it's bound to happen.

..and fans forget bad plays by players they love and forget plays and bad throws over time...

That's what your eyes are seeing and what you are remembering to form your analysis.

Eyes can be deceiving and our biases influence to deny facts.

That's what you're doing here in order to suit your argument.

If we are making a fair comparison, i.e., their first three years only, Dak is in fact more accurate in terms of what counts in the stat column.
