PFF: LVE would be 1st overall pick in a 2018 redraft

So, PFF has dumped the 3 year rule and it's all about rookie seasons and specific team needs are ignored? Think the Browns, Jets, or Bills would ignore QB needs for a LB or the Giants would take a LB over the best RB?

No doubt in a re-draft, Vander Esch would go higher but not in the top 5.

And considering the re-draft, the Cowboys have more than just Vander Esch that would go higher. They've been very good in the most recent drafts and particularly in the 1st rounds, despite how many hate the picks on draft days.

No Lamar Jackson would. He’s the only rookie leading his team to the playoffs. Almost undefeated while starting and smacked the top seeded chargers
Not much of a thrower, great as a runner. Pretty limited

As of right now, you are correct. As much as it pains me to say I think Mayfield is going to be an absolute star for a long time.
He won’t. He’s short without the technical mechanics or deep ball of russel Wilson and drew brees.

Shown a low IQ given his criminal history. At best he’s middle tier quarterback. Great comparison is Andy dalton with a lot more athleticism

I think the first 3-4 picks would be the same. I think LVE would be first LB chosen, although Leonard would move well up into the 1st and maybe chosen ahead of him.

They’re going to the Super Bowl this year. Ban bet?

If they win anything it will because of that defense, not jackson.

It will be the same for Dallas, if we win a SB it will have more doing with the defense.

If Dallas wins a SB the the whole situation will probably have to go down like the Tampa game.

Dak gets his one scoring drive and couple big throws, blow the rest of the drives with sacks and crappy throwing, and linehan failing to run zeke.

Defense gets one score and put us in position for about two FG's because we suck in the redzone.

We end up probably beating the chargers

Dal 20
LAC 13

If we play the ravens

Dal 9
Bal 3

If they win Lamar Jackson will be 70% of the reason why. Lamar Jackson would be the number 1 pick if teams knew he’d transform the ravens into the dark horse they are now.

The Cult. Very top on my list of fav bands.

I loved The Cult. Trivia, my kids went to/go to the classic Title I public school of poor kids that the teachers made into a great school. Its a Magnet School now and has the resources but for several years had absolutely nothing. (Its accross the street from a private school that costs more than USC where Beyonce's daughter arrives with armed guards).

They didn't have computers but had this state of the art music room with Les Paul guitars, keyboards, etc. It was all donated by Matt Sorum, who was in The Cult and then made a pile of money as the drummer in Guns N Roses. At the kids music plays all the parents would pack in and a guy in jeans and a leather jacket would run a sound board as the Kindergarten kids would sing songs. One time I noticed had wore a watch worth 50K and the teachers called him Matt, so it was that guy. Really good guy, he would say the proof he loved the school was that he was coming in at 8 am, which no one in the music industry does.

Would still take Mayfield number one. He’s a generational talent at the most important position in sports

So is this redraft only the first round, because the Indy linebacker is better than all of them?

LOL no

Jackson fits into maybe 2-3 systems in the league that has a small window of success.

Either Ravens win it all this year or they will see Jackson absolutely fail next year and see it was a wasted first

And this right here tells me a couple things

1. This league/fans are so desperate for the next Michael Vick they hype up Lamar “13 wonderlic” Jackson

2. Michael Vick left such a mark on the NFL he should get HOF consideration
