Tony Romo was a classic underachiever. He worked at his craft but honestly the vibe I got from Romo was that if he was cut the next day he'd be fine about it. Football was never his life, it was just a means for him to earn a living and got him to bang a few famous women.
That’s idiotic

Good one...and Probably not.

But you do get whittle trophy for top 10 dumbest posts this season.
Romo a “classic UNDERachiever”

Just...wow
:lmao:

Explain to me how he isn't a classic underachiever? The guy literally never won anything that mattered. Anytime he was in the playoffs he would would fail spectacularly. He was also the QB under whose tenure the Cowboys got into the nasty habit of always losing in the month of December. Where is all the achievement of Tony Romo? Far as I can tell he achieved 2 things, he kept us just good enough to get the Cowboys a new stadium and second he had just enough notoriety to be able to bang celebrities. That really was it.

You downgrading Tony’s teams isn’t a valid argument. He had 12, 11 and 13 win teams that were talented and as good as the competition and they did nothing. He also had win and in games in week 16 and lost. I always stuck up for in but no QB is perfect and he had shots. I’m not going to take away Troys wins because of what teams he played for.

Actually it’s a very valid argument. Don’t take Aikmans wins but Hell Dak and D.white may have won SB’s with those 90’s teams

You upgrading Tony’s teams is an even less valid argument. Anyone comparing the teams they had can’t be taken seriously.
Your whole entire argument revolves around wins which are team elements, because you know that when it comes to actually on the field comparison Troy isn’t up to the task. You can always tell that about people babbling about QB winz. Which isn’t even a real stat.
are you a before or after type evaluater? were you running down Tony's teams in the moment or after the fact? Don't remember any people in 2007 running down the team and saying man this team sucks. It's only after the fact when Tony couldn't get it done that this type of stuff comes up.

Explain how. What did Mr. Romo achieve in his decade as the Cowboys QB. Go ahead.
achieve? What did he achieve? It that for real??? A question? He achieved many accolades although not a super bowl...that’s mostly a team achievement. Even if Dak won a super bowl this year I wouldn’t give him much credit he has a good team and a great running back. Dak gets carried every weekend. Romo was doing all the carrying in his time.

No many people scrutinized the teams romo had, especially the crappy oline he had for many a years with no real talent or pedigree

Undrafted QB who was an experiment. He was the best of what we had to choose from back then and Jerry had no stomach for drafting a QB. That being said, he did underachieve as a starter.

Accolades? Are you serious? He never won in the post-season and he never won a Super Bowl, hell he didn't even come close to one. Hell he didn't even come close to the NFC championship game.

But again, you can't say that because you don't know how Dak would play on a team where there was constant, manhandling press coverage where he had to throw into tiny windows...do you think he would be good at it? Danny White deserves praise. He did his job in the playoffs and won games.

Lmao since romo was in the NFL maybe only 9-10 QB have been better lmao the fact you think Dallas was completely ignoring the QB position for 10+ years is funny. What other mythical explanations do you have?

Regular season stats that mean nothing. Absolutely nothing. He threw the ball around and even towards the end of his career was more than capable of tossing 5 interceptions and getting you beat. Anyone remember that Detroit game? Coasting along and then 5 INTS, kills the team.
