GMFB: How much credit does Dakota Prescott deserve for Cowboys win over Seahawks?

Opinion even then

I thought he played well though. Not taking anything from him
But dont hang your your hat on the 300 yards, in doors,at home vs a very average defense. Arguably the best Cowboy playoff QB situation for stats in 20 years. (Maybe Philly at home in 2009 was close to as optimal.)
The TD - int diff of 2 was good too, but the redzone int was the worst playoff turnover in many years other than D Murray’s 2014 fumble. Next worst would be this years redzone int.

Dak deserves credit though.
No argument there.

Just saying it is total opinion on who had etter playoff performances.
Dak's endzone INT this past Saturday should not have counted. That was clearly pass interference on the Seahawks. The officials once again screwed over Dak and the Cowboys. Should have been flagged for pass interference and resulted in a 1st and goal from the 1. That's 7 points the officials took away from the Cowboys.

Yeah, you have a point there. Couldve been interference.
Then again, a couple of picks were dropped...but not those where redzone anyway.

He was fine.
To be fair though, you can't remove picks because you think there was interference (or a bad route by WR) unless you're going to add them when a db drops the pick. That happened once or twice in the game.
I'd stay with one pick and be happy

Oddly, someone told me that after only 2 playoff games Dak now has as many redzone picks (2) as any Cowboys QB in the playoffs...ever.
Liar.

What other playoff REDZONE pick has Dak thrown???

Could've?

It was.

Those "could have been" dropped picks were not guaranteed. Very hard to grab and contested, thus why they were not picked off.

I see your name and instinctively scroll past.

Breaking news: "Disingenuous and senile old fart yells at computer monitor!"

You become more irrelevant as time passes and your tired old schtick gets exposed.

Mr Insult personality "strikes" again.....amazing how your Dak agenda shows......lol...

If he was as solid in the 1st three quarters as he is in the 4th, we'd have a serious QB.
This does not compute.

A guy like him who gets the whole point of being the QB of the Dallas Cowboys..

right down to the 2 minute game-saving drives..

and giving great media interviews like no other QB I can remember except Don Meredith..

is just not enough for you to get happy?

Really?

I like your posts but I think you are wrong here.

DAK does not have to grade out better.

Just win, Baby. Just win.

1. Defense
2. Zeke Elliot
3. Defense
4. Zeke Elliot
5. Dak Prescott

In that order is why we won

The fact is Dak did what we needed him to do. WIN. Thats what he has done since day 1. This guy obviously has very much room for improvement. Hes a 3rd year QB. But this team can win. Just enjoy it please.

That is what my statistical relevance algorithm as to a player's relative importance to a victory based on a multitude of variables determined. It is proprietary software which I call PIOOMA so don't ask me how obtained this highly accurate and incontrovertible figure.

With 7 minutes to go In the 3rd quarter and Dallas driving and on the Green Bay 19, Dak’s throw to Beasely was intercepted by Micah Hyde

By the way, if I ever have my facts mixed up just point them out to me. It would always be an honest error, not a lie. Thats harsh

Didn't say I don't like him. But don't you agree he'd be much better if he was as efficient in the first 3 quarters as he is in the 4th? Wouldn't you be in better health if just once in a while, we had the game well in hand by the end of the 3rd quarter? lol

Forget commercialized pagan holidays. Dak's success means it's a Festivus for the rest of us!

Romo couldn't carry Dak's jock strap during the playoffs! It's not even close. As a rookie and in his first playoff game, Dak outperformed all of Romo's playoff game performances.

FACT.
I was ready to move on from Romo six years before he walked away from the game. To be honest and fair, I must say the dude could play QB and I appreciated his willingness to take a beating to make a play. I bet most Cowboys fans wonder what a healthy Romo looks like behind center with the pieces in place today.

After further review, you are 100% correct. I'm the liar. Where's my crow???

For some reason, I thought that pick was around the 30 yard line. Forgot it was at the 19 and inside the redzone. My dumb bad. Thanks for correcting me. Apologies for the insulting label. Learned my lesson.
