I’m still salty Philly leapfrogged us for Goedert. But yes, get Dak another playmaker.

I never understood telling the world what your type priorities where in the draft before the draft. Not too smart IMO.

It's called SMOKE my brother.I don't like SJ, but he's not dumb. More Arrogant than anyone in Dallas? Yes. But not dumb at all, Hea saying ezaxtly what he wants to say. Double, triple, and quadruple reverse psychology

We did better trading our #1 pick for Cooper. At least we had a day 1 starter. We need to do that more and draft less tes and wrs because we'll wind up with a bunch of Baylor hype instead of a playmaker that can make an immediate impact

The reason Jason Witten quit on the team during the draft is he didn't want to backup Swaim this year. His ego wouldn't allow it.
He's a crybaby that wouldn't come off the field on critical passing plays but he didn't make any gamechanging plays that won beans . He had a ton of receptions but a third of them were for 3 yards on 3rd and 10.
The cowboys need an athletic receiving te and get away from the prototype designated blockers who can't jump .Lol . We're trying to win football games not sell groceries. Or are we???

If he didnt play everydown he woulda got beaten out by Martellus Bennett and we probably would have another Superbowl or 2 but Jerrah likes to stick with the popular non Scoring type and play the endorsable player.

Sounds about right.

Still, keep Rico at the blocking. I think he has made progress at it this year.

He must've worked so hard on blocking that he forgot how to catch... lol
Dak throws him a ball that any 7 year old could catch and he drops it.
(I realize it happens... just messin' around, but, wow, that was bad.)

You've been a Cowboys fan long enough to know they're always going to do this leading up to Senior Bowl week. It's not smart but when have they done the smart thing.

So much for Mr. Soft Hands.

It's hard to see Rico sticking next year. He's been passed up by Jarwin and Sculz, and we're talking about TE being a priority for the draft.

He's kind of a mystery. He has made some highlite reel catches, and he's been an athlete at a high level in basketball, but he just can't pull off looking becoming a football player.

He's really got to focus on blocking. That's where he has a physical advantage on the other guys.

Crap I misspelled Stephen's name, my bad.

SHEESE! might as well CRANK UP that Springsteen's GLORY DAZE tune, cuz' that 90's fixation of COWBOYS GLORY has got a tap root on it down to the frickin' standing water table, APPARENTLY:facepalm:
(evaluate talent, in this draft, Steve?)

*Man, tight-ends?, we got tight ends out the frickin' ying-yang ,I seem to recall the prior Superbowl winning franchise attempting to plifer our #89 off the practice squad,b-4 they'd even had a grasp on that seasons destiny,,, that statement alone is truly wretch up/hurl worthy,,, we couldn't utilize the admirable T.E. talent we've horded& simply allow to wither& die on the flippin' vine the way it is,,, for the very last time I shall boldly proclaim:
" the #9 would've had Blake Jarwin#89 in this seasons pro bowl ,ALREADY:mad:

This should have been a priority at least 5 years ago.

The fact that WR and TE were such huge needs that they traded a first for one, and now might be thinking of taking one with their first pick in 2019, is a complete indictment against the staff after all the crap they talked about feeling good going into the season with Hurns and Barwin as the #1’s.

They completely bungled that entire situation.

If we gotta censor cuss words, wouldn't it be more fun if they allowed just one letter?... lol

Did Stephen say "top" priority? Even if he did, If what was said at this point over 3 months before the draft was something that could be taken to the bank, I would be more inclined to agree with you, but there is a lot of rhetoric by teams at this point. We've all seen many times where a team has indicated a certain position was important to fill in the draft and that doesn't happen. I don't take a lot of stock in it. For all we know he might like how Jarwin and Schultz looked late in the season (they did do well) and he may not really consider TE that important.
There are no smoke and mirrors with us. Hope it doesnt hurt us
