Your offense over the last 3 years has been about as good as any 3 year stretch since Aikman and Smith. Maybe a lot of Dak’s success was specifically what Linehan was doing, hiding his weaknesses. One could argue you didn’t have an NFL caliber TE this year, but as soon as you got Cooper you guys went on a tear. Garrett seemed to like him, going as far as to announce he expected him back prematurely. I’m not saying I’ve evaluated him as a great OC, but the only major faults I’ve noticed is an absence of QB scrambles when theyd be opportune, and maybe some vanilla playcallinf thay defenders have called out. But that doesn’t necessarily mean his offense hasn’t been working to some extent.

What if you bring in a revolutionary new guy and you can’t get anything going, the run game dies out and Prescott reverts to dink and dak? Appreciate it or not, you’ve won 32 games over the last 3 years and Linehan had a ton to do with that.

I don't think anyone could actually argue with you you make a good point the problem is when he was bad he was really bad and he did nothing to correct it it's almost like he had brain farts

They planned ahead. Nussmeier was brought on this season to be the replacement for Linehan if/when they let him go. In 2 years when Nussmeier flops, Kellen Moore will then be thought to have enough experience to take over as OC. The cycle is in place and there's nothing we can do about it :omg::(

Nothing said it was a bad hire. Dak pushed for it I think he has a clue as to what Moore is trying to help him with and the work that needs to be done. Yet it is message board poster who are not there and have no clue as to what is taking place making the claim he does not know what he is doing? Come on that is too fricking funny. If people here choose to use Moore as a whipping boy fine have at it

I recall Jerry made some comment about next week. This leads me to believe he is looking at someone on the 4 teams left. I think he is looking at someone on LA. Because he thinks our teams are similar.

This means absolutely nothing unless Garrett is also released, or if the new OC is given full control over the offense and isn't hamstrung by Garrett.

what has Moore done to deserve such a defense from a fan board poster? who really gives a crap. I say personally he has shown nothing other than being a player who sucked at doing the job trying to teach the job for the first time all the while getting an endorsement from a rookie QB who still in my eyes has very very much to learn and still shouldn't be too comfortable that he doesn't try to get much better with or without Kellen Moore.
you come back with this "nothing said it was a bad hire" , well so far I beg to differ and up to this point the evidence is on my side because the proof is in the pudding and right now that pudding still needs alot of mixing.

I could ask the same what has he does to deserve the bashing he has taken? This was his 1st season working as a QB coach and someone Dak lobbied for. I saw improvement with Dak over the course of the season not to say more improvement is not needed.
