The Pro Bowl is basically voted by the fans and this is the advantage of being on the Dallas Cowboys and why Dak is so high in endorsement money and Jersey sales and would hope he doesn’t have to ‘test’ the market when he’s eligible for FA.

Andre Gurode, who couldn’t call OL plays from Center, made 5 pro-bowls as soon as Romo started for this team.

Goff would be playing before Dak and Goff sucks according to Dak homers, because he was one of the top 10 vote getters. Goff isn’t playing because he’s in the SB.
Not accurate. Coaches and current NFL players also have votes. So, just because a rather small and vocal few here on a forum think Prescott is awful doesn't trump NFL players and coaches.

At what point do we start expecting Dak to change the calls at the line when he sees the defense playing run?

I've read here that he is given two plays. Presumably he knows all the plays in addition to the two he is given.

I'd like to see him take a little more control at the line when the defense has shown itself.

Didn't he say he needed to do that a few weeks ago?

Not expecting Brady or Romo mastery of reading defenses at this point. Would to see more of an effort though.
I honestly don't know......Romo didn't become that guy until he was in his 30's....I'm not sure but I do know 3 years in this league is still young especially in terms of a quarterback. And I look at the people around his age like the Winstons, Goff's, Wentz's, Mariottas, Carr's.....they aren't doing much of it either.

Yet he still got enough votes to get in as a replacement.

Odd that any of his fellow players and coaches would give him even 1 vote, considering he is trash, right?

I mean after he bombed it in the playoffs you gotta feel for the guy. Do something for the guy to keep his spirits up even if he doesnt deserve it.

The fan vote has almost no impact on the selection to the pro bowl. There are many who have won the fan vote and not been in the pro bowl.

Try again.

Yes it does.. pro bowl is based on votes, which includes fans. But apparently guys Ike you think Goff sucks yet he was top ten in voting ahead of Dak.

Yawn.....even Trent Dilfer and Elvis Grbac made the Pro Bowl.....but at least they did as starters and not as a replacement that won a popularity contest by their peers. Pretty easy call on this one

And Cooper is a top 5 WR in football IMO. This dude is good. Real good.

Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Tyreke Hill, Mike Evans.

Who is he better than in that group?

I haven't even mentioned Mike Thomas and JuJu Smith-Schuster.

It's 1/3 of the votes. You're suggesting that Prescott is more popular in regard to fans and/or more Dallas fans voted than any other teams' fans?
Care to provide ANY evidence of this?

Especially considering around half of Cowboys fans clearly can’t stand Dak.

Bombed it?

Man you are dense.

Nah you are just blind. You clearly failed to see the overthrown and wide open missed passes, along with the wide open run lanes where dak could have ran to extend the play and didnt.

My grandma could have run through those lanes with here Walker and oxegyn tank and gave us a better chance to win the game.

First of all, Dak is an alternate this year, meaning invited by the league. Secondly, yes that’s exactly what I’m saying. Look at jersey sales.. third, you can vote online.

Your grandma also could have rushed for 150+ yards on our defense too even with her walker.

While Dak didn't exactly light it up in the playoffs, he was actually one of the better performers. I don't see why he was voted into the Pro Bowl either, as the 17th ranked QB, but saying he "bombed it" in the playoffs doesn't help an argument.

It amazes me anyone still even watches the Pro Bowl. I don't think I've seen a single one in over 20 years.
