50 is still a kid. Even 60 is young nowadays. I hit 65 last October. Not long ago, I remember thinking 40 is really old..ha!
I know this nurse that has been battling vertigo the last 2 years. The Drs can’t figure it out. Like CC said it could be caused by meds.
That's the funny thing, even at 51 and having been through cancer treatments I'm not on any medication so that was easy to rule out.

Have they checked out the inner ear?

I don't have vertigo but I do have an inner ear problem. The inner ear hears the same stupid stuff the outer ear hears. You'd think we could buy filters.

Okay, well I've referred to in the past as "cool", by friends, but this whole 'hot' thing is something new to ponder:rolleyes:...maybe I'm just getting better with age:D. As for the unbalanced part, I think that may be part of why I was drawn to this site. You all seem to be just the right fit!:) Thanks everyone for including me in the 'herd'

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Welcome to part 2 of the weekend. We're going to have a nice day today in Granbury with the high in the mid-sixties. I hope it's comfortable wherever all of you are too. All this talk about getting old just reminded me that I'll be 74 in March. Thanks, "friends". It's true about falling apart I guess. Every time I wake up something else is bothering me and aches I had yesterday may or may not have gone away. I guess it's exciting in a perverse sort of way to discover what will be hurting tomorrow. I hope your vertigo goes away, Gramma.

Have a blessed day, Y'all.

Good morning Pops and friends. BrrRRRRrr -1! It’s not that cold in my freezer. Can’t imagine walking out in that. Stay warm Gramma.

Same here Leon. 60s today and going to hit 70s the rest of the week. Have a great day everyone.

Maybe it's time to move to wherever you guys are. Our HIGH temp Wednesday is predicted to be -15, and -25 for the low lol. Nothing to do but laugh I guess. Can't do anything about it.

Ok Gramma, what planet do you live in? Winters are mild in parts of Texas but summer temps makes up for it. :muttley:
So I've heard, but never experienced. It gets hot enough here, so much so the humidity here in the summer makes me physically ill at times. I was born here and you'd think I would be acclimated but I guess I'm just odd like that. Maybe I need to be one of those that summers north and winter's south. Oh no! I've become one of... them. Never thought I'd be a weather whimp :(.

Lots of folks from the northern states and Canada come to South Texas to spend the winter. Can’t blame them for escaping minus-kind of weather. I must confess that I’m a weather whimp also. When it hits 40 I shut down :muttley:

Fall. That's my time. 70-75 days and cool 50's at night. It's short-lived here, but absolutely love it.

Afternoon Pops and friends. It's in the mid 50s here so not too bad, but cold weather will move through tomorrow I think. I was looking at shelving units and found this in the description:

The storage shelves is easy to assemble, all parts packaged for idiots.

I thought it was funny and wanted to share. Have a good day everyone.
