What does that have to do with Kellen Moore, you’re deflecting here.
When you answer the Question, we can continue with where I'm trying to get at, because obviously, this is about Dak Prescott and not Moore.

It's sad how much historic talent is being thrown down the drain by an insane FO that wants to sit around experimenting with nonsensical coaching choices on offense.

Moore has shown zero knowledge in the NFL...but he's a wizard when it comes to the NCAA!!! Shucks, I'll bet he'll get interest in 5 other teams right now if we let him go.

You need to tell this to Travis Frederick because he just said the exact opposite

Maybe I am just a stickler for detail, but the fact that Moore's name is still misspelled in the title of this thread drives me crazy.
I just wish we had another guy named Less so we could be choosing between Moore and Less.

What I was saying is, that they are already throwing away that year with Garrett anyway. Might as well give Kellen a shot. That was not so hard to understand.

I don't think you appreciated what I was trying to say. What is the average football player's life span in the league.....3 years or so? Well, waiting for another year, you will lose key talent. You cannot expect to keep the same group with talent at all positions. In this league, you don't wait around. You make the call now. Teams such as New England and other highly successful organizations don't wait around to see.......if it work out........maybe there is divine intervention that will set in........maybe we will get lucky.....maybe...maybe...maybe. You make your success. You don't wait around with inferior coaching to see if you get lucky.

Get rid of Garrett and hire a real OC. Until they do that, this is a second rate organization.

How, exactly, would he have shown that knowledge to you, and how is it that he couldn't have shown that knowledge to the people that coached him, that he played with, and that he has coached? I don't disagree that Moore is an uncertainty, and particularly to fans, but every quote from everyone that has been associated with Moore as a player or coach has consistently said he does show that knowledge.

as long as they have Zeke and top 5 D I think they will win 10 games yearly. But for them to advance further in playoffs they will need to avg about 30 pts game. Right now they avg 21. Just not sure they have enough at QB to be that prolific on offense.
Nah not 30 but 27 would be much improved and put us over the top if the defense stands up, the defense failed us given up 31 with top so lopsided, and no TOs is what cost us , not the 22 points fielded....

Maybe because he's shown no actual knowledge at both jobs that he has had at the NFL level? And because we have seen this story before with the guy we are finally about to rid ourselves of. A decade ago, all we heard about Garrett was how smart and wonderful he was. Fans bought into it just like they are buying into Moore. Praise from within this organization isn't exactly credible when it comes to coaches.

Again, how would you know if he has shown knowledge? Have you worked with him? Talked to him? Reviewed game film with him? Been coached by him? Had discussions with him on the sideline during games? Worked on a game plan with him?

And, how does a fan sitting in front of his TV tube reasonably dispute the comments of numerous people that have been around and with him in those capacities?

All you and I know is that he wasn't a good player at the NFL level.

Not sure how else I can answer this for you. I base my opinion off of the results of his job. Do I sit in a room and talk to him? No. Do I need to sit in a room and talk to him to know he has yet to have any success whatsoever at the NFL level? No.

Lefties rule. 4 of the last 5 presidents were left handed. Ford, Reagan, H W Bush, Clinton, Obama. All lefties. Born leaders of men.

One year as QB coach that you, as a fan watching on TV, have no idea how well he performed in, and no firsthand knowledge of - yep, that overrides everything that people that actually work in football and have worked directly with Moore says ...

But hell, if you want to go by results, by pretty much every statistical measure Dak was better in 2018 than he was in 2017.

Lol...look, kid, you are clearly all-in on the "genius" of Moore, and that's fine. But realize many fans are going to need to see some actual results before we are so easily swayed. But like I told you yesterday...it'll be okay!!

This kind of response is always the fall back of the illogical mind. The fact is, I am not "all-in" on Moore, but not because I question his mind, but because I question his experience level. That worries me because no matter how "football smart" he is, there is a lot to be gained from learning through experience, and Moore doesn't have that as a coach. The other fact is it's illogical and irrational for a fan to suggest he somehow knows more about Kellen Moore than professional coaches and players who have worked directly with Moore.

BP was HC, so what exactly did you expect the Dallas staff to do? Fire Parcells and hire Sean? Yeah, no.

And Zimmer couldn't work with BP's 3-4 and went to Atlanta and then Cincinnati before Minnesota.

Thank you Capt. Hindsight.
exactly, and at the time parcells had 2 years left on his contract and no indication of planning to quit...perhaps if Sean knew of his pending departure, he might have waited out a year.
