I hope he can get a other outside wr who can go up and get a ball, and a te who can go up and get a ball in the red Zone. Maybe another pass catching rb coming out of the backfield. We've neglected drafting and aquiring stud wrs and tes and We're not adding anybody w an elite Skillset were just replacing what we lost. This is Americas Team for God's Sake. We should have top wr depth and we only got amari and a #3 spot played slot guy with 3tds
And a rookie #2 with 2 TDS. And Swaim w 1 and Zeke w 6 .

How is a #3 slot wr supposed to make us a top offense with this nucleus. We're gonna have the last ranked offense again. How about Bo Scarbroughs replacement and a Gronk and a bonified 8td a year #2 and some great Depth. The Cowboys have run this offense down into the deep Doo Doo. Why spend 20 million on average guys when we can get 1 stud #1 who can carry the offense for less. We need a #2 with s higher ceiling than 2 tds

At least we'll have 3 deep ballers who has ahigher ceiling at scoring If Gallop can develop an elite Skillset. We just got stuck w twill for 4-5 years and everyone knew he was no good except the person paying him and the oc

Dez didntdgave a #2 and Amari is supposed to also? . Thats not how you build an Offense. It's a a garbage offense at playoff time because there are not enough elite players

I like the fact there is a close relationship with Dak and Moore. I think having trust in each other is a benefit not a negative. However like anything else all that matters will be the results. I look forward to seeing this play out.
I hope you're right.

There's a time for comfortable and a time for everyone to be a bit uneasy and on their toes. Personally, I think it's time for the latter in Big D.

Last off season it was about Linehan having more control over things. This year it's literally Moore. Garrett whether intentional or not is being distanced from both right out the gate.
Good. He can’t be far enough away.

This time last year, they said how Linehan was recreating the entire offense to work around Dak's skillset.

We all know how that turned out.

I'll wait and see on Moore. I have my doubts but at least we aren't letting Linehan have another go.

Exactly. Show me, don't tell me.

I'd rather they just shut up and work. I'm sick of the PR machine telling us one thing and it being the same old crap come game-time.
You know if they didn't say anything, all we'd hear is that they're hiding something because they know Moore sucks. lol

So what is Garrett needed for? If this is true, we have the only head coach in history who contributes nothing except making practice schedules and calling timeouts.

clapping. we need a company clapper.

This is exactly what I was going to say.

JG doesn't do anything on defense. He's hired people with tremendous defensive resumes so that they could just do their thing. Was true with Rob Ryan, Monte Kiffin, Marinelli and now, evidently, Richard. Johnson was a 4-3 guy and was the driving force behind getting speed on that side of the ball - the defense has changed over and over again under JG.

Johnson did not call any plays offense or defense and was here only for 5 years. I love Jimmy Johnson but the facts is he did not call any plays that was given to others. When Dave Shula was hired by him the offense was a joke, the then hired Turner who he had no past with. As for defense the defense was bend but don't break under Wannstead and it was not until they went out and got Haley that it started to change. Again this is not a knock on Johnson, he over saw the entire team which is the primary role of a HC. To act as if the HC is responsible for 1 side of the ball is beyond stupid, HC is in charge of all things taking place on the field. Get a clue

When Jones hired Jimmy Johnson, he did so because Johnson would bring his entire program to Dallas. The scheme and philosophy on both sides of the ball and the way they went about building the team was all Jimmy Johnson. He brought his coaches to run his schemes. If they will no longer run a Garrett offense, he is now contributing nothing. He was hired as an offensive genius, stripped of playcliing duties , and now stripped of his entire offense if this is to be believed. So I ask again, why is Garrett still here and what is he good for? He is basically an adult baby sitter who’s main job is reporting back to Jerry and saying yes to everything Jerry wants. That’s not what a head coach is supposed to be.

BS he hired Dave Shula who was not part of the program he had at Miami and it failed, he brings in Turner again a person he had not worked with in the past and Turner ran the offense and that was claimed by Aikman. Jimmy over saw this team which is the job of a HC. You guys are fricken clueless of what a HC does. He is not in charge on 1 side of the ball he has total responsibility over the entire team. This OC and DC success or failure rest on the HC. The team loses that is on his assistant coaches it is on the HC period.
