I thought I read somewhere they offered 17. If he said no to that then I imagine he wants 20.

If that's the case, you've heard more than I have. Evidently, perhaps a 3 million dollar difference is enough to cause problems.

Rumors usually abound during these types of things, though. We'll likely see for sure, eventually, although who knows when?

What kind of tag is it, exclusive or non exclusive?

What do you mean?
You want players to be animals on the field and gentlemen off it?
Sometimes that don't happen. Especially when these guys, who are working their body, minds and tails off to get what they feel they deserve in a gladiator sport where their next play could be their last.

And they're young men! Some are naturally business-like and "classy", but many aren't and it's just is what it is.

I find it funny you want so much from these guys you don't know and don't affect you except for your fandom of a particular sports team.

Why, comp picks start in the third, and there’s no way we trade him for anything less than a third.

Also, if he just sits out part of the season then leaves the following year, we’d still get that 3rd rd comp...
in 2021? that's a loooooooong ways out.

if he sits out part of the season we lose in every which way. If we get a Khalil Mack type haul you absolutely pull the trigger. If people look at all the stats from the past couple years, Lawrence slightly edges Mack in every stat except turnovers forced (games played, sacks, pressures, QB hits, TFLs, run stuffs all in favor of Lawrence).

I totally get it, but how many of us played high school football just for fun???

The game has become totally wussafied and we all know it... Sure' they might get injured, but that’s why they get paid the big bucks....

Even the lowest paid practice squad guys are banking, big time.... My right knee is still jacked up because I played, but I wouldn’t take it back because of the times I shared with the guys, which I’ll always cherish...

You ever hear many vets or cops talking about their crappy salaries? Hell no, they suit up and play for real...

NFL players these days aren’t only soft, but they act like a broken leg is the same thing as being shot in the line of duty - it’s ridiculous man...

I get that the GAME is “rough” - I suppose - but ask anyone if they’d take half a million for knees that are shot and back pain that never goes away.. I’d bet you anything most people would take that trade in a heartbeat...

These guys come off like entitled scumbags, and despite the top players getting paid MILLIONS, they act like they’re on the front lines in live combat...

These guys aren’t saving lives, and in the end, they are just playing a game...

Acting like their injury problems are so gruesome that they should be paid as if they were gods is really off-putting to many people...

I swear some of our fans believe in Socialism when it comes to football. DLaw has played his tail off for the last two years and deserves a big market value contract. The franchise tag has screwed him. Look at how the tag screwed Enziel Ansah. He got hurt and will never get his big payday. The tag screws the players and I would sit out a season before I would play under it.

I understand where you're coming from better now.

You're making things worse Roy!

Its an opinion buddy. Corners and Pass rushers are premium positions. RB is not. If you believe the opposite then you are in the minority in NFL circles. But your entitled.

And lets talk about money. So your going to pay big for Olineman and then pay a RB 15 million? Doesn't make sense. You either spend big on one or the other. If you have a great back you shoudlnt need an all world line. And vice versa.

Lol... you're trying to lecture me. Awesome.
I didn't even remotely mention any of that. I replied to your Corner post and it was like rubbing salt in the wound.

But it seems like you're on a soap box and who am I to tell you to step off?

Preach, Preacher!

Lol.

Then the corner. And there was one. Probably top 3 CB for the next 7 years.
Any other positions you want to add
Had we taken your original two picks we sure wouldn’t be worried about second contracts

Another dumb response. I can never tell your angle. I'll just put you on ignore.

20 is a fair price I think
The real issue is how long you have to keep paying him
I would want an option out in 3 yrs

I would take any position other then TE or possibly WR over a RB with the 4th pick. Safety he would have to be a good one.

I would never take a RB with the 4th pick. Unless I had a complete team and that was the ONLY hole. Even then its a dumb move.

I wasn’t a fan of a RB, I wanted bosa but it wasn’t possible. I would have taken Ramsey myself but I get the thinking. You want to run the ball get the proven runner
And taking him in the first gets him 5 yrs

O-linemen also protect the qb. Antonio Ramiro knows full well. And fournette, Gurley, bell saquon and zeke suggest opinions regarding rb's are changing.
