No offense but you sound like a spurned lover

Actually, not at all.

Not a fan of any team that lost any of those NBA players.

Any other ideas?

Like, maybe, I'm one of those weird people who think we should honor integrity whenever we see it exemplified, and should call out those who seem to spit on it.

Yeah Durant, LBJ, Wade, Bosh all future HOFers with multiple rings, Eat your heart out for Sean 'waste of a roster spot, always injured' Lee.:rolleyes:

Truth is, Lee would be the one of all of those you mentioned who actually wouldn't have ran a fix in order to get a ring.

LBJ? Saw the futility in CLE of winning anything, so he did what he did.
Same, Wade in MIA.
Same, Bosh in TOR.
And, most recently, same Durant in OKC.

At least Lee would have come by his ring honestly, assuming it happens.

Its called a good upbringing vs a poor upbringing. Cant pick your parents. For good or for worse, more times then not, the type of person you become is nearly 80% dependent on your parents.
Players who want to get as much money as they can doesn’t mean they were raised wrong or bad. Owners make billions off of them. They deserve to get what they are owed.

Loyalty is a two way street or it's nothing. I will never give a player crap about "not being loyal" to a team that would cut them the minute they blow their ACL or the dollars no longer work out.

True, but in the end we root for the team, not the players.

I don't care if any of them saw Santa Claus. Sean Lee is not anywhere in the same vicinity as those players. Silly comparison.

I understand the original point of this thread. But I also respect a guy who wants a championship ring more than anything. Would be nice to have an owner like that.

That's a whole other conversation that we could have... but as someone who has spent some time studying families professionally... if that were the case, the human race would have self-imploded centuries ago.

True, but Lee is a model citizen. Leader. Someone to look up to on and off the field.

But I disagree. I don't think any of these guys deserves the type of money they are making. Salaries have gotten way out of hand.

So you studied families and found that the type of parents a child has is little to do with how they turn out in life? On the whole?

So you believe owners should make billions off of these guys and the players should get what? A few million?

100% agree. Loyalty from an NFL Owner/FO is only as good as a player’s last game or jersey sales. Amazes me how many fans see players with 5-10 year careers as “greedy” compared to these billionaire owners who now have “generational wealth” and would sell their soul if it meant more cash.

Owners own the company. Cant have the employees running the show. Anarchy doesn't work in business.

Players getting what they are owed isn’t “running the show”. No one pays to watch Mark Cuban play basketball. The NBA has destroyed that outdated structure. The NFL should follow suit but they are too stubborn to get their product can be in trouble.

It’s a good look for Sean, but it’s probably best to compare him to David West or someone, lol.

Second thought, you would have something there. West and Lee would be equals had West chosen to remain with the Pacers and keep working toward a championship there. Lee probably could play for NE, probably could play for LAR. He's not.

I for one appreciate that.
