If Dak is average in 2019 and we don't come close to a Super Bowl

So you don't think Dak was a huge factor in why we missed the playoffs, especially in later games in 2017 and basically allowed the Eagles to march on to their first ring? I don't take anything away from his heart, it's there. But seeing half the game day threads all acknowledging how pathetic is it to barely squeak out a td in what seems like half the games is not much to be proud of. I know it's easy for people to only remember the good and forget the bad, people do that with Brady and Manning literally all the time and for whatever reason it was mostly the opposite with Romo, but Dak has fallen under the protect at all costs barrier. I really don't care why, I just am trying to see if there's an scenario where someone who defends Dak left and right will actually acknowledge a potential better scenario for the team without his presence, and we'll find out very soon how things work out.
Wait until the 4th quarter before you start reading those Game Day posts. I love getting the last laugh. From the first snap until the last snap everything in between is called football. It's about winning the game when the game is on the line and you have a ball in your hands last. That's the drive that counts. And that's when we win

Tom Brady Jared Goff look pathetic in last year's Super Bowl. Drew Brees was horrible Nick Foles was horrible. Did you watch the playoffs overthrows missed throws even Mahomes look sad in the first half. And you're going to complain about Prescott a fourth-round draft learning the job. Please understand what's happening

And if Dak laughs in your face with your Foles offer, then what?
Nick Foles, the Cowboys have owned him throughout his career. He's a lollipop throw the ball up for grabs passer. If it wasn't for Darren Sproles giving him half a field each time. I totally agree to take Prescott any day

It is our defense that carries us all of last season, they only gave up 20 points a game last season, Our offense only averaged 21 and if you take away the one game we scored 44 against the Jags and the meaningless last game of the season against the Giants where we scored 36 our offense averaged 18.5 points in the other 14 games. Our offense was not very good last season scoring points either before or after we aquired Cooper...look it up
Meaningless last game against the Giants I find that so laughable. Do you know the Eagles win the division if we don't win that game. A division game is never meaningless please don't mistake that again

How can you say the team is worse than last season we didn't even draft yet. We haven't made any trades yet. Can we least play a preseason game before you make a comment like that

Um, I can say it easily...because we are worse right now. No 1st rounder? Trade who, outside of Lawrence?

We'll just wait and see is always our mantra here. I wish one of these years we could go into a season with excitement and optimism.

Well I am enthusiastic about this upcoming season it will be Gallup and Prescott's second season together. You do realize we were the youngest starting team in the league last season. Even if we just put out the same Squad I'm happy. But I know we're going to improve this defensive middle. And Freddy's coming back and so is Jason Witten. How can you not be excited about that

Then you let him play out his Rookie contract and go from there if you’re not willing to negotiate from that point.

Do you really think he’d hold the Cowboys up for more now?
I know this is an old cliche, but who are you going to replace him with. Please don't say Cooper Rush

Next year thru the draft of course. Don’t have to this year.

But I seriously don’t think Dak is going to demand top dollar.

He’s a middle of the road QB talent wise.Theres no reason to pay him more.

I would draft a quarterback every single season in the late rounds, you never know what kind of talent you're going to get. And if you miss out it's only a sixth-round pick who cares. But I believe in Prescott especially when he has an opportunity with the ball in his hands last. I know the mistakes he makes I know the throws he can't make. It's actually his intermediate throw over the linebacker before the corner. It's not his deep ball. But most people get most things wrong.

If we don't get the defensive nose tackle that can push the center back into the quarterback's face we're never going to win this league. You need to get the pressure up the middle. I don't know why this defensive coordinator doesn't understand that. It starts in the middle. Your Center your nose tackle your middle linebacker your strong safety. Those are the positions you need to be strong at most. Oh yes quarterback LOL

Well his numbers don't prove that. The last three season his first overall in winning. And that's what it's about winning. From the first nap until the last step everything in between is called football. I care how the game ends up not what happens during. Aaron Rodgers has been horrible. So has Drew Brees in this year's playoffs. Even Tom Brady stunk up the Super Bowl. I trust him Prescott I believe he's more than average and we're blessed to have him

I no longer have expectations of failure with Prescott on the field. The kid is just a winner. What is instincts take over he's nothing less than brilliant. From the first snap and to the last snap everything else in between is called football. It's what you do when you have the opportunity to win it with the ball in your hands last. And that's when he's at his best go Cowboys
I completely agree. When Dak can just play football and the pressure is on I'm confident he will score.

Just like in the playoffs against the Rams. No doubt in my mind that had the defense got a stop and the ball back to Dak he would have drove down the field and scored a TD and 2 point conversion to send the game to overtime.

People don't realize we where the youngest starting team in the league. That offensive line of the Rams we were playing against men. They lost a couple of those this season that's going to hurt them. We're getting stronger the rest of getting weaker LOL nope we need that defensive nose tackle we need to get pressure up the middle. That's my biggest concern

Did you get the last laugh in that playoff game when Dink took forever to score a td when we need to score way more quicker? How was that laugh?

Dak went 3-3 without Zeke and kept us in the hunt for the playoffs despite the defense giving up almost 40 a game. That's not including injuries that had guys like Tyron out. When Zeke came back we still had a chance to make the playoffs but what did zeke and Dez do against Seattle.......which lost that game and killed our playoff chances. How about earlier in the year against the Rams and GB where Dak scored over 30 points and had the lead going into half time just for the defense to forget how to play. Both playoff losses, Dak got us back into the game just for the defense to allow GB to score to win and the Rams to run out the clock.

People want to say 17 was Daks worst year but was still top 10 in QBR that year and had us 1 game from the playoffs and a winning record. Seems you guys are unfair to Dak and allow other players you likea free pass.

You don’t pay QB top dollars just because they’re on winning teams.

If you think Dak is worth more than Brady, Brees or Rodgers please don’t bother responding. That’s the most ridiculous post I’ve seen yet. Lol
