And is Beas here? Again it's about price. Do you think Cobb wants a cheap contract? If he was willing to accept one, why not stay in GB?

Oh he will cost half of what Beasley cost.

He’s going to get 1-2 years at 3-6 million per year

2 years, 12 million.

I have no idea if he would take that but it'd be good value to me.

I always saw him as a number 3 receiver who was thrust into the starting lineup because Ted Thompson was stingy. Go look at his stats, they’re unbelievably pedestrian. Basically what you’d expect Terrence Williams to do if he had the most gifted qb in nfl history throwing him the football.

He essentially had 1 solid year, his contract year. How convenient.

Otherwise he’s basically a run of the mill slot receiver making 10m$ a year for some odd reason.

In Green Bay's best years with Rodgers, the Rodgers to Cobb quick pass on 3rd downs was almost unstoppable.

Everybody that watched Packers game knew it was coming but defenses just couldn't stop it.

Stats don't show that unless you have advanced stats showing 3rd down conversions.

I don’t get the point
We have our starters
We have a guy who showed promise in camp last year
We have picks we can easily get a slot guy in 3rd-4th rnd
Rather use the money to add Dline help
I agree, BUT, if the price is right....Cooper, Gallup, Cobb, Austin, Wilson sounds pretty good to me. With Zeke, an improved OL, Witten, whomever we add through the draft and free agency, and fresh ideas from the new OC, the potential for an improved offense is exciting to me.

Yeah, but as an Eagle fan, he has that proclivity to downplay anything positive in Big D.

What's it going to be then, eh?

How about, 2 years? I’ll give you 500k a year, with an additional 500k if we win the super bowl! But the best part of it all? You’re a friggin Dallas Cowboy!

I didn’t say he was bad in any sense, but he’s a JAG, you could probably do better with what’s still available (jordy)

Idk man. Jordy is old. Cobb has had some injuries but is significantly younger.

Either way, Cobb would make a well qualified a lot WR for just about any team.

Not many teams have #3 receivers that aren’t “Jags”

Stephen will offer the league minimum but will sweeten the pot with half price concessions for his family on gamedays

He missed 7 games last season. That will bring down his value.

I have no issues bringing him in but has anyone actually watched him last year? Did he look broken down?

He seemed fairly productive in 2017. If you get the 2017 version to go with Gallup and Cooper and Hurns comes back healthy, that's not a terrible 1-4 at WR.

Currently checking out film on him now
