So now you're a mind reader? You know exactly what was in hatcher's mind when he decided to rip Romo. Can you levitate too?
.
I'm going by what he actually said in regard to the question asked. If you take with issue with that and/or my opinion - simply don't respond.
I'm deeply sorry that anything negative was ever said about Romo. I hope you find comfort.

Here's a little thought for you. Many times the questions asked to a player are told before the actual interview and often the player suggests a question or more to be asked. It often is someone contacts a player or celebrity to do an interview with. The player asks what will we be discussing and then they say I won't talk about this or that and they also will say I will talk about this or that. So your belief that hatcher had no idea the question was coming can be, not saying it was because none of us were there for any part of it, but could have very well been planned from the getgo. All I'm saying is he ripped Romo and for all either of us know could have done it just to get some attention and therefore I feel that coming from someone who was an alternate for a single pro bowl and never lead either team in anything, it was a desperate attempt to make him feel more important that what he really is.

That was a well thought-out response. But I don't agree with you . I don't believe was Hatcher was looking for attention only. I actually believe that's how the locker room was. I think Romo was a self-centered conceited individual. I was so pissed when he went to Cabo with Jessica Simpson during the playoffs. That's why I don't think Romo would make a great head coach. I don't think he has the locker room people skills

I find it funny, not ha ha funny and hypocritical that the people that have a problem with Romo and Simpson going to Cabo also forget that fan favorite Witten and his wife were right there with him in Cabo. Why is it wrong for Romo and notfor Witten? Also the ONLY person that has brought up Romo and the locker room was hatcher. If Romo was like how hatcher said he was would other former players have brought that up? You're putting way to much importance and belief in a single players view.

I'm wasn't referring to camera work. I fully understand that it's limited and edited. Though regardless, they still show some truths. Example? The Seattle game where Bryant came undone. I was in attendance and I also watched the NFLN replay on TV later. They were very similar, so to suggest the TV doesn't show the whole picture isn't 100% accurate.
I've been behind the team's sideline on a number of occasions. So with eyes and not TV cameras.
Fair enough. I cannot speak to anyone else's observations of sideline activity--whether from inside the stadium or home--but my own.

No I remember Jason was with him. I wasn't happy about that either. But that just shows another BFF. Romo played favorites

I remember Jason hatches best game against the giant we called him the Giant Killer. The locker room new to keep everything internally. I don't really find what Jason said about Romo too upsetting it had nothing to do with Romo's playing abilities . I think most of us knew Tony was a little bit self-centered

Just curious. Have you ever heard Romo talk well about himself? Or almost ever even say the word "I"...unless maybe it was make fun of himself?
It has always been "we" with him.
I do recall very late in his career how he said he felt he had learned the game so much better tna in his early years, but even that is not really bragging.

To say everyone "knew" that this guy was self-centered seems more like a projection of some sort than reality.

Some think I'm bashing Romo or I hate him, not the case. I just call it like I see it. When he was on the roster there was no bias, I just chose to move on after he retired. Some can't.

Tony Romo was definitely without a doubt a self-centered individual. You don't have to talk about yourself accurate to have that be a proven fact. His actions proved it. He had BFFs. Patrick Crayton drop the football against the Giants he wasn't even looking for the football he didn't expect it. Same thing happened with Austin. You very seldom see Tony Romo with his teammates. That doesn't mean I think Tony Romo wasn't a team player because he did want to win at whatever cost. But I am a great evaluator. I can profile just about anyone. And that's my opinion of Tony and it is just that an opinion

Nothing he said or did suggests he's looking for attention. Agree to disagree. When Romo played, he got a lot of criticism I felt he didn't deserve. The odd thing is now some are going a little above and beyond defending him and I think it's time to move on.

When I say some of us knew Tony was self-centered. We spoke of it often on the old forum. That was my mistake I forgot where I was. But I'm not alone in my thoughts

There are a few things Romo did that indicates he was selfish, doesn't make him a horrible person, but it's a real thing. And he said himself of a couple looking back.

I don't recall saying he was a horrible person. Keeping to yourself could be a good thing. But being self-centered he was in my opinion
