I'd like to get Quinn if we don't spend too high of a pick. We are a bit thin at draft picks as it is. I see we have a comp 4th pick. That's about as high as I'd go for Quinn at the moment. Though, personally, I'd rather we go with Zach Allen in round 2.

In 2018, Savage totaled 52 tackles with four interceptions and two passes broken up. He does not have great size, but he makes up for it with quickness and instincts. Savage also has the versatility to play some nickel cornerback.

As a senior, Savage totaled 52 tackles with 5.5 tackles for a loss, two passes broken up and four interceptions. He had three interceptions with 59 tackles and eight breakups as a junior. Savage broke into the starting lineup as a sophomore and totaled 59 tackles with an interceptions.

Adderley had a big 2017 season with impressive production for Delaware. The junior recorded five interceptions with 78 tackles, two forced fumbles and three passes broken up for the year. Over the previous two seasons, Adderley totaled 12 breakups with 100 tackles and two interceptions. Impressing at an all-star game will be important for him.

Didn't we try that for a bit last year with Beasley? I seem to recall that being a complete and utter failure. Cobb has a history of playing well on the outside. So, it's why I've suggested that we move him about at WR with Cooper and Gallup. That would make us more unpredictable at WR, and even more formidable than we are. Teams would have to account for not only the routes that we'd use, but the different WR combinations that we would have. Oh, this will be a fun training camp to think up different schemes with our WRs. Do you know? I am quite enjoying this offseason. Not flashy pickups, but we are fixing significant holes with chaps that'll do the job quite well.

In fact, now that I think about it, Quinn with either the comp 4 or 5 (I'd prefer the 5 with him), Allen, and one of these safeties? Bloody hell, that'd be exciting! I'd also like to draft or sign another LB to really add to our LB group. That'd make us a frightfully good defence, and we'd go from one of the best LB groups to possibly the best in the league (if we're not already).

Jones is one of the best man-to-man corners in the league. We rarely ask him to play zone. A solid zone cover CB and nothing else? Did you watch any games last year?

Jones ran a 4.36 and is one of the faster DBs in the league.

Jones didn't get the lesser WRs. It's 2019: NFL offenses move their guys around - and long gone are the days where the X is always the teams best receiver He drew Hopkins a lot more than Chido did, for example.

So when the team went zone they replaced him?

He can run 4.26on a 40 but he he cant turn and run with a Wr then that 4.36 is worthless. Go watch games at the end of the yr and you will see what im talking about.

Oh, I think things are going swimmingly this offseason. Brilliant signings by our FO. By George, they are doing good work this offseason, aren't they? And yes, I too recall Linehan talking about that. I think the plan was to use him like Edleman, but that failed miserably. Jolly good show that we've got a slot WR that can be a proper outside weapon if needed. I really do think that we're going to be quite happy with our moves, and we still haven't drafted yet. This is what I've been begging of our FO! Oh, and we're not eating into our cap space at all really. I daresay we've still got enough cap space right now to extend whoever we want right now and still have enough for the draft and UDFAs.

I agree there, and I suspect that will be where the decision will be whether or not to keep Jones. Actually, with how good the CBs in this draft are as well, I'd be quite keen in exploring trade options for Jones and drafting a more complete corner in place of Jones. He's had 1 good season. Why not try to sell high on him for an extra pick?
