Dak had 22 passing tds...Both rushing and passing are required.
Dak
Yards 3885
Total TDs 28
Zeke
Rushing Yards 1434
Rushing TDs 6
527 passes 439 rushes. I believe that's the statistic. I would not have believed it.
I'm hoping Jason Witten gives us that Red Zone threat we lost with Dez Bryant. I was not a fan of Dez Bryant but there's no doubt he was a touchdown machine. Dramatic yes consistent noI hope not because hes terrible
His 22 TDs is pretty pedestrian
I really believe having Jason Witten back will take us a safety or a linebacker out of the boxThis team is run the ball n defense. Dak just needs to be efficient passing the ball. Zeke is the best skill player on offense, he should be the focus. Dak has to protect Zeke by keeping that SS out the box, so far that hasn't the case.
Let's just start with Dak keeping defenses honest. I think Kellen will do well tho.
Dak had 22 passing tds...
Hear you V, but Dak doesn't call the plays. He is the starting QB, calls the plays, audibles and touches the ball every play. Both Garrett and Moore will run the offense through him. So knowing that, how can he not be the focus of the offense?
be waitin awhile he never was true redzone threatI'm hoping Jason Witten gives us that Red Zone threat we lost with Dez Bryant. I was not a fan of Dez Bryant but there's no doubt he was a touchdown machine. Dramatic yes consistent no
I believe he was for Prescott.be waitin awhile he never was true redzone threat
Zeke was the #1 running back in the NFL...againNotice I labeled it Total TDs.
He had 6 rushing TDs.
22 + 6 = 28
The point was to compare the team's dependance on Dak vs it's dependance on rushing by Zeke.
I feel it's the opposite. Witten isn't a vertical threat so that SS can walk down, be in the box for run and still cover Witten...Imo it's on Dak n the WRs... Jarwin stretches the field at TE, honestly I'd like to see him get just as many snaps as Witten.I really believe having Jason Witten back will take us a safety or a linebacker out of the box
I'm really curious. Touchdowns for tight ends. Who leads the leagueHe has 8 TDS in the two years he played with Dak. he is more of a possession receiver that moves the chains. About 45% of his receptions go for 1st downs.
Zeke was the #1 running back in the NFL...again
Dak was #18 in passing...
Soooo..
I really only want to see Witten playing in the redzone....that wont happen but that would be my wishI feel it's the opposite. Witten isn't a vertical threat so that SS can walk down, be in the box for run and still cover Witten...Imo it's on Dak n the WRs... Jarwin stretches the field at TE, honestly I'd like to see him get just as many snaps as Witten.
Somebody's going to follow Jason wherever he goes. That's a guy out of the box that's how I feelI feel it's the opposite. Witten isn't a vertical threat so that SS can walk down, be in the box for run and still cover Witten...Imo it's on Dak n the WRs... Jarwin stretches the field at TE, honestly I'd like to see him get just as many snaps as Witten.
Exactly my point but I understand people wanting to compareThe question in the OP was about the Cowboys depending more on Dak.
It the question and my answer were not about comparing which one is the better NFL player.
