Can Prescott be the main focus of the offense?

You can choose Zeke you can choose Prescott. But make no mistake about it we need more balance through the entire game. We need to get 8 out of the box. Balance Innovation play calling. Is a reason why Zeke takes himself out of the game lately more often than he should they should tell you there's not enough balance

71 yards per game over the entire season is 1136 yards which wouldve been good for 4th highest in the league. So youre basically telling me, Mr. $30m a year needs 100 rushing yards and multiple receptions from a back to put up not even good but decent numbers?

And wow, now we are taking away a great play by the RB to fit your agenda?
Make no mistake about it Prescott is capable of putting up the numbers. It's up to the innovation of the play calling to give us more balance and that's what this was supposed to be about. Could you imagine how much better Elliott would be if they respected the passing game

Although I would normally agree with everything you said. This team is built around Smashmouth football. It's not built around Prescott. Yes he touches the ball on every single offensive play.

Yes but it still runs through Dak. Every offseason move around the offense was specific to Dak. Every offensive player acquired and Coach hire/fire was made specifically with Dak in mind

I'm not disagreeing with that point it would be foolish. Of course it runs through the quarterback.

I'm actually glad you said that because this offense was not built for Tony Romo it was built 4 Prescott. I wonder how many people are going to like that statement.

But you know how many people think it was because of Elliot. That's why they built the line. So he can run through it. Many will tell you where great at run blocking but not pass protection

But make no mistake about it the play-calling is geared towards Smash Mouth football. Then play action. We all are run first offense. You cannot deny that. And that's why I want to see more balance

Those yards would have been 5th (assuming he held up, which he wouldn't have) and the 71 yards would have been 7th. But hey, close enough for hater work.

And LOL at "great play by the RB". That was the OL. He had a hole five yards wide and two weak attempts at hand tackles, not even arm tackles. Then the next guy to touch him tackled him.

My last post because my wife is screaming at me LOL she wants attention also. Imagine after 40 years you still wants to talk. I wouldn't go as far as saying tunnel vision. But you're stuck on one particular aspect. And I am agreeing with that aspect. But you have to take it further. Are we run first or pass first. How many plays first downs are passing and how many are running. I'm not even sure that's a good argument either but. Go Cowboys be good be safe by Cowboy Brothers

Because Ezekiel Elliott seems to be the main focus. We run way more than we pass. .Does he really call the plays . or just execute the plays he's told to call
Actually we don’t
We passed more last year than ran

I know that. I was surprised at that statistic because it's deceiving. Someone mentioned it was because of the Giants game and the Philadelphia game. I think it's the fourth quarter when we let him loose. But anyways I'm late going to go go Cowboys

I should have said we seem to run more than pass. And getting my wording down I used to post on the old form the old Cowboys official website. I love posting here because you guys know your stuff and there's no fooling you. I get better information here than I do NFL Networks. Great to be back go Cowboys I miss my old Landry's hat if you know what that is

This is nonsense. So then I guess all or most of Zeke’s long runs dont count either huh

Edit: wait dude wth are u talking about? Morris average 4.34 ypc in the games Zeke didnt play. Thats not even including that one long run the Rams game

We are done here

At his current level of expertise, Dak can't be the main focus of the offense without plenty of help from those around him. He's a good player and all that but somewhat limited in his accuracy and level of play. Accumulating all the help that they can get to support him would be a wise move for those in charge of the Dallas Cowboys' offense. This is coming from one who likes Dak and would like nothing better than to see him succeed. Let's see if this FO is up to the task of aiding his cause. The upcoming season should do a great deal to reveal whether they are or not.
