It amazes me everybody wants to mimic the great Bill Belichick but no one wants to do the Dirty Work yeah signed him to a Dez Bryant contract. LMAO

That's the oldest gag in the book. Who you going to replace him with. Is not that great in the first place he's injured

When you are thinking of ridding of a player in their prime, yes, it’s best to have a replacement plan. Unless you think it’s better to go into the season with no legitimate pass rush...

You should start thinking before posting threads.

Belichick has a plan each time he does something and replaces his good players with other good players.

We get rid of Lawrence, where is the pass rush coming from? Can you point it out? Good luck with a pass rush by committee

Again, he won’t sign until the other DEs have deals. Sit tight.

I actually think they can trade him even if he doesn't sign the franchise tag. And then we still retain first rights to get him back. That seems to be the scenario anyways lot of discussion on that today I don't know what the truth is

You might be right on that. It's hard to find the rules on this specifically. Is he still considered under contract if he doesn't sign? Another thing hard to find, is he under an exclusive or non exclusive tag?

You're not going to get a first for him . the Colts would have given a first and a third I understand. But You Bet Your Life I would trade him for a second. Then I would take the two seconds and trade up for defensive tackle. And then I could spend the money elsewhere we're going to take a second round pick and probably get a defensive player. Why not get a great one. Your Edge Russia's unnotified without a great defensive tackle. How do you not understand that
First, show us your proof that the Colts offered that for him. If not, it's useless speculation. Second, it's pretty clear you've gathered your football "knowledge" from playing Madden. No point in continuing this conversation.

Wait... One last thing...

I doubt there is ANYBODY that could understand that.

I was busy I have neuropathy from the military I use speaking text my finger sting they hurt. You Edge rushers are nullified if you can't get pressure up the middle you cannot win in this league if you can't get pressure up the middle. All your quarterback has to do is Step Up. LOL sorry about that

If you went and read all the posts from the beginning cuz you would have understood what I said. You can't come in at the last thread post and think you're going to get the entire conversation correct. I mean who does that. Every time I comment I make sure I read the entire thread threw out first. How else do not cross reference post

do you know how many times I had to explain this. . Go back and do your own homework. Wouldn't that be the logical thing to do

A 3rd rd is as high as you can get I think.

End of 3rd too.

This goes back to the Cooper trade for me. We gave up a first for a good but not great WR (he's been better with us).

And Lawrence, at the premiere position on defense, and supposedly a premiere player, is only supposed to get us a second?

Sounds like we made a bad deal on Cooper.

Exactly correct useless speculation because a franchise is going to do what they always do. Only one time has the franchise responded to the fan forum and that was the old site. Everybody wanted a defensive tackle and they didn't understand why Crawford wasn't good enough.

I don't know if Lawrence is going to sit out the season. I don't know if he's going to take the offer. I don't know if they will up the offer. But isn't it fun to come up with different scenarios and possibilities. That's what this site is about opinions. Some people just take things too personally.

Yup nothing lower than a top 15 pick
I just not sure if anybody will pay that much for him with the talent that's coming out of this draft. That's my issue. I believe there's equal quality just because of the shoulder
