@Ken

You forgot. Sacks allowed is now solely a QB’s fault.

I know people used to hold the OL accountable for giving up sacks years ago. But this past season that changed.

And now all running back yardage belongs to the line and not the running back.

Somehow within a couple of years the positive pass catching of the wide receivers will belong to the defensive line.

When up is down and in is out you're standing in the shadow of crazy.

You think Cleveland's oline and running back were as good or better than Dallas' last year?
Almost...but not quite..as bad as the Jarwin inclusion a few posts earlier
:muttley:

Cleveland had one of the best OLs in the league last year. Chubb is not Zeke, but he's no slouch.

I looked back 5 pages to see if this had been posted. I did not see it. If this is a repeat, I apologize.

Some will see the info here as a great compilation of dak's history with the Cowboys. A positive outlook and argument that he will end up being great.

Others will find this to be humorous.

I merely posted this and offer zero opinion.

Part 8 was my favorite.

No lt even close Dak>Romo first three years.

This was one bad, Dak slobbering video. QB winz out the wazoo, directly comparing stats from QBs 25 years apart, and just general stupidity about football overall. The only intrigue is really wondering which Dak slobberer from here is the video author (and owner of the featured annoying voice).
Yes because he doesn't dominate almost every qb statistically the last 3 years either...wow.

He only dominates in the fantasy world between your ears. In reality he is a mediocre QB, especially over the last two years. 2016 was a fluke and is never coming back, but in the meantime it keeps his numbers just high enough for Dak slobberers to pretend there’s something there.

Yes because he didn't put up top level qb numbers the 2nd half of last year...

Yes because he didn’t put up bottom level qb numbers in (choose cherry picked range). Is that really the best you can do...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Zeke led the NFL in rushing last year and for the games he played in 2017, but that was a fluke, right?

In 2017 there were 9 RBs with more than 1000 yards rushing and only one of them (AD) had a lower average per carry. Two tied with him at 4.7 YPC and six had a higher YPC.

He lead the league in rushing because he had 20% more carries than the second highest total, its a joke to say it was all the OL.

I always go back to his very first appearance in the preseason:

His first preseason game was a revelation, no doubt. A boozed-up Jerry has reporters shouting questions to him and he just said "Dak Prescott" and walked past them with a big grin on his face.

But IMO preseason games are not an accurate comparison, its all vanilla defenses with no blitz calls. Cooper Rush looked great in games like that, until he played against starters in the late preseason.

He likes to act like the first 7 games of 2018 are indicative of the team and player moving forward lol. When we sat here all offseason bashing Linehan and the WR by committee approach, this guy must have felt like we had a SB caliber team in place lol.

If you honestly look at the roster and schemes from the first 7 games of 2018 and feel like other QB’s would have done a whole lot better then you have some serious hate in your heart or football just isn’t your thing.

Also after Rush had more time to work with this coaching staff. Funny how that works isn't it? But there is, in fact, a clear pattern of quarterbacks getting worse, not better, the longer they're here.

Agree completely, but there are two other options. You could be Geoff Swaim or Deonte Thompson drunk-posting.

Dak Prescott. If everything around him is perfect, he's decent.

Yay!
kinda like Brady was early in his career? Even with everything around him he was just decent. It took him yrs to develop to what he is now. The only thing different in each situation to start a career is coaching. If Dak is with the patriots right now he's a super bowl champion. Not because he's a great qb but because coaching. Same as was the case with Brady. He developed into one of the greats but wasnt early on.

Lmao to the fact that a replacement level TE and a journeyman WR where some of our highest targeted players is a travesty. The next options were Mr. Bracket Covered Beasley himself, a 3rd round rookie in his first taste of NFL regular season action, and an UDFA turned decent 4th option.

Sounds like a real smart way to evaluate a young QB lol. Its honestly hard for me to find any logic in a counterargument in support of the WR’s, TE’s, and SL those first 7 games.

Show me how many quarterbacks in this league can succeed without Talent around them. Tom Brady. That's it the only exception. Aaron Rodgers has been horrible as his team has progressed. Need I continue

Exactly. "Good" QBs will win games with backups playing on offense - which explains David Carr's statue in the NFL Hall of Fame.
