We’re such a desperate fan base for an Elite QB. We’re deprived in the front office, coaching staff and most critical position. Amazing we’re competitive at all.

But out of those three areas of concern QB might not be our biggest weakness. Hard to say but why the odds are against us. Lol

Exactly right, my friend. I won't get into a debate about who is worse. Jerry, Stephen and Prescott are made for each other. All frauds.

Horrible GM, terrible Director of Personnel, weak Head Coach, awful QB. That's a tough road to a championship.

Yup, Romo tried losing games with his many ints. And we have so many NFC championships (much less Superbowl memories) with Romo.

Yes, it was Romo's fault. If only we had the scary talent of Dak Prescott all those years. We'd be sporting a fistful of rings.

We’re fixing to give the worst passing Franchise QB in Cowboy history a 100 million $$ deal. I’m so excited.

Disgusting to even call him that but yeah. It's like a bad joke. Like I'm being Punk'd or something. The Dallas Cowboys. Married to a QB who can't throw.

Productive 2019??? what does that even mean???
Are we talking about empty numbers, the last guy had those, is Dak a top ten QB?? - No he is NOT, is he a top twenty, yeah barely, he's a bus driving system quarterback that has shown, unless he has a lot of pieces around him, he just can't get it done....can't have an all Madden team to win championships..I like Dak, he's a consummate professional and a leader but has shown poor mechanics, too many times he misses wide open receivers or holds on to the ball far too long.....so no I'm in no rush to give Dak a long term deal, he needs to prove he deserves a long term deal

A big part of what earns a big contract is productivity. If you want to talk about empty numbers look at the numbers Cousins put up in Washington his 4 years as the starter with only one playoff appearance but it earned him a big contract in Minnesota and now Washington has nothing at QB. Those numbers give you a chance just like Romo's numbers, they put us in contention most seasons. Dak got rushed into being a starter his rookie year but despite that we've been in contention with him every season. He has a number of things he needs to work on but he has the leadership, intangibles and ability in the clutch to become a great player. Players follow him and that's critical to becoming a great QB. He's able to shake off adversity which is another great trait he has. So let's say he enters the 2019 season under his rookie deal and doesn't prove to "you" he's deserving of a long-term contract what are you going to do at the position?

LOL... chose your words carefully. What about winning? Think you'll agree, isn't that what ALL fans want?

Well get the bench Dak for Mike White threads this season by the Dak haters. Floaty and Risen for sure.

As well as the Cooper Rush threads from those who are still convinced he's a better option than Dak. When we were 3-5 last season many were screaming for White and Rush who had ZERO NFL starting experience as the only chance we had to dig ourselves out of that deep hole. That's just an example of the lunacy you have to deal with here.

last year Dak in 5 games couldn't crack 200 yards passing, in 5 other games he couldn't crack 250 yards passing, in a passing league that horrible, he's a bus driver of a QB at this point....he's not even in the same league as Romo when we're comparing Qb's talent wise but Romo was prone to bad decisions...And minnesota regrets that Cousins trade......and I'll go with what Troy Aikman, three time Superbow QB and MVP and Hall of famer.......you either have the ability to throw a football or you don't.....that comment pretty much tells me about Dak
