What other player besides Dak have we seen where fans told crticizers to find another team?

Something that cracks me up is, one of the biggest complaints about Jerry is that he accepts mediocrity and he is too loyal to "his" guys instead of looking to improve the position.

Then the same members who take that perspective slam other members for doing what they want Jerry to do.

Which is a silly complaint because with the team having the second most wins in the NFL in the last three years, they are way better than mediocre, by any definition of the word... and, it is difficult to argue that Jerry is too loyal to his old players when the team is among the very youngest in the league.

Jerry has evolved.

It’s like still complaining that Jerry buys the most expensive (and old) free agents or that he drafts for backups. An old and outdated way of viewing Jerry the GM.

Well that may be true but that complaint has been common and it does still happen even today.
Witten, Gregory, Lee... and Heath. How could I forget Heath!

Don't get me wrong though. I'm not making that complaint. I'm just commenting on the hypocrisy from some.

It took over 20 years, but Jerry finally seems to have gotten a clue as to team building and blueprint. Now, he just needs to learn what it takes to win in the playoffs. Drop and give me another 20?

IMO Jerry's biggest continuing issue is that he doesn't seem to comprehend skillsets and abilities and how they affect that player's performance. He thinks Heath just needs to learn more or try harder, when the truth is that Heath is very limited laterally, which means he's often incapable of breaking down and making open field stops. This physical limitation is not going away, and I don't think Jerry understands that.

Because I can't remember another...

Thought we can talk about something else other than 10 pages of threads related to Dak contracts and myths.
Romo.

You probably don't remember the Quincy/Hutch debates. Dak related arguments have not hit that level of Ridiculousness yet.

Since I pay very little attention to those who talk this snarky trash, I really don't know. Questioning fanhood is the weakest form of attempted insults. I usually feel sorry for those who resort to that, as it's just so pathetic.
K, did you feel that way in the old boards? When those few of us questioned Romo's performance back then, we had our fanhood attacked and questioned. For the record, I agree with you. If I do it now, it's out of fun, hence the :D:p afterwards.

lets get facts starting most of the fans here that are highly critical of dak also have nothing positive to say about the DC , all they do is gripe, complain, know it all comment on how they know the FO sux, always live 23yrs in the past, and just are negative fans..they like nothing about their team except old memorys.. why be fan if the current team going back 23yrs isnt doing anything but irritating you? I say this to those who just have 2500post of anti Cowboy rhetoric and call fans who sometimes say positive things as fan boys or we somehow buy everything jerrys selling..i rather as fan be 70-30 positive vs NEG and have some faith and support then the 24/7 pessimist..those fans sound like Eagles fans on how they view the Cowboys..

If he did mention that then he outed himself as a banned member.
I was banned from the old forums too. It was so clicky with the mods and certain members. Not as bad here. But Oldschoolbum, Ksk, Girlsgonewild, and a few others. I just put them on ignore here.

Back to the thread at hand. I couldn't stand Romo and was so happy when we finally moved on. He had talent but the team suffered because of him. Some things his fault some not his fault (injuries).
