Weird that he can't stick with teams for long. There are some whispers he's a locker room issue. That was the rumor why he suddenly started to see his PT decline last year............ he was rubbing players/coaches the wrong way.

But you can't deny his production when he plays. The guy just kills it inside.

Apparently some truth here ......what's interesting is the Skins gave him his first decent contract last year but released him with 2 years left.

Washington Commanders[edit]
On April 3, 2017, the Washington Commanders signed Brown to a one-year, $2.30 million contract that includes $700,000 guaranteed and a signing bonus of $500,000.[10][43] Brown entered training camp slated as a starting inside linebacker. Head coach Jay Gruden named Brown and Mason Foster the starting inside linebackers to begin the regular season. They started alongside outside linebackers Ryan Kerrigan and Preston Smith.[44]

On October 23, 2017, Brown collected a season-high 13 combined tackles (ten solo) and made a season-high 1.5 sacks during a 34–24 loss at the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 7. On December 10, 2017, Brown made ten combined tackles (five solo), but was carted off the field in the fourth quarter of the Commanders’ 30–13 loss at the Los Angeles Chargers due to a foot injury. Brown was sidelined for the last three games of the regular season (Weeks 15–17).[45] Brown finished the season with 127 combined tackles (84 solo), 2.5 sacks, and two pass deflections in 13 games and 13 starts.[17]

So what are the reasons? Please expand upon the drive by post.
Coaching and ownership for starters. Jason isn't allowed to call plays who wants a coach like that and Jerry can't just shut up and own the team. He needs his mitts on every move and mouth on every POD cast talking about how good they could be just to fail, the Eagles owner is ghost and stands back like should and lets the GM he hired handle it ...relevant winning seasons, legit playoff wins (not just beating a bad seahawks team and then getting ran over by a back up rb the next week),Superbowl in the last 20+ years , not to mention the culture is better. Eagles are focused on winning games ....Dallas is has always been revenue focused and the salary cap keeps them from buying anymore rings they have to earn them now. Eagles win a SuperBowl and Dallas says "so we are most lucrative franchise, America's team plus we dem doys". Stay big mad and prove me wrong.

A bad Seahawks team? What? They were legit dark horses to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Put the Cowboys down all you want, but you have to give praise where due. They beat a very talented Seahawks team.

Typical. Drive by post, and have nothing to back it up.
You be the big boy and back up your post.

While trying to not get banned, I think politics absolutely plays a role in why some players may not look at the Cowboys as a destination unless Jerry pays out the nose, which we know they don't do in FA anyway. For example, Malcolm Jenkins in Philadelphia is pretty socially active. He gave an interview a few years back when the ownership/players on the field politics thing collided. He admitted that he'd be reluctant to sign with certain teams based on how their ownership and front office allow expression, etc. He said there are a few players that feel that way.

I doubt the number is significant but I suspect there are players who would be reluctant to sign here given what Jerry stands for. The converse to that is the Cowboys likely won't sign players for similar reasons.
