We were 5-4 with him and 3-3 without him. Without Zeke and T. Smith we avged 8 pts a game. Without Zeke but with T.Smith we avged 23.5 ppg. With both playing we avged 24 ppg. When Smith came back and Zeke was still gone we scored , 6, 38, 30 and 20.

It had as much, if not more, to do with Smith being out as it did with Zeke being out.

You don't just bring in serious competition for a starting QB job, there aren't serious QB prospects just floating around. The FA QBs that were available weren't serious competition and the one, Foles, that might have been, would have required a commitment first before even competing for a job. Trading for one is usually a bad choice, if a team is willing to trade a QB, that QB isn't a starting quality QB. Fitz isn't serious competition by any means, he'd be a good backup for a game or two at best. Fans were losing their minds that Zeke looked fat, have you seen Fitz this off season?
