If Dak has a All-Pro year, would you trust him?

As far as Mahomes, Watson, and Mayfield. Watch them fall to earth after a big loss. Hellz bells Mahomes and Watson or MaHolmes and Watson already lost huge games. They're all mortal. Even Toms

Mahomes may have lost a big game, but he was utterly dominant in the second quarter against the New England D. Dak couldn't do what Mahomes did even in his dreams. Most starting QBs can't, to be fair.

This is false.

Did you not watch Week 17's away game at New York where Dak played behind the 2nd stringer Oline and 2nd string RB against the Giants 1st stringers all game long. Yet, Dak repeatedly willed his offense to regain the lead over and over until he eventually led the team to a hard fought win.

Did you not see that game?

There have been other games, but I'm sure it's pointless at this time, even if I provide other videos.

Did you watch any other game? cherry picking 1 time when garret and moore planned an offense that didn't have zeke so they didn't try to force the run much. Dak willed the offense lol. Dak did good hitting the open guys, the game plan was good that day having jarwin running up the seam in 1 on 1 coverage....that's a QB's dream but for dak it's a miraculous play. The guy is an average QB, makes the plays any NFL QB can make, nothing more nothing less.

Elliott was far from elite vs. LA and Prescott put up numbers good enough to move on.

laughable. We didn't move on ergo... no one put up numbers good enough to move on except LA. Shutting down the run is defenses formula to beat our offense, that is 80% all they have to do.

if he can consistently eliminate the bad passes and overthrows and poor decisions, THEN i'll trust him.

What QB won a Superbowl without elite talent at the skill positions?

Brady...almost every year. He has really good role players but few superstars. Once those guys move on they rarely get close to the production they had in NE.

Lets not be dense here. You know exactly what he meant.

In 2017 in the games without Zeke, Dak was terrible. Franchise-Record terrible. 5 Tds and 7ints in 6 games. Show me a stretch from Romo that bad.

You guys are a joke....
Who else was missing during this time period? Don't forget this is the same year we had Leary leave for F.A.
Our line was in absolute shambles during this and we had Linehack as our O.C.
Did Dak play amazing? No but he had an absolute **** team around him offensively at this point. Worst WRs corp in the league, bottom 5 TE group, missing All Pro LT, Martin was playing injured, I could go on and on.

ALL Qb's need a good system and good players around them to succeed, look at Aaron Rodgers last year.

10 Quarters without a single TD. I dont give a damn who was out, no QB that goes 2.5 games without scoring a TD deserves $30m a year

I'm guessing the OP has confused Pro Bowl with All Pro?
Pro Bowls can be made by being average and not in the playoffs (see Vince Young and others)
All Pro is in another stratosphere---by pure selection and only has two QBs --total, including NFC and AFC combined

Prescott put up decent numbers and scored 2 TDs. In regard to points, that was enough for a few teams to win playoff games last season.

So make a better argument.

And last I checked, a 9-7 record (missed playoffs) and a 10-6 record aren't exactly what I consider dominating in the W-L column. You inflate by including the rookie season rather than where we are at now.

How about the fact that every site had Dak ranked anywhere from 17-21? ESPN, PFF, Football Outsiders. That doesn't matter at all? How about that he was part of our first shutout since 2003, joining the company with an all-time great Quincy Carter? Doesn't matter? How about that he, admittedly, still has footwork and mechanic issues going into his 4th season?

You're right. We got out of the wildcard round though and he "COULD HAVE" won another playoff game if it wasn't for that pesky defense...
This thread answers a lot of questions. Enjoy:

If Dak plays up to whatever contract he gets this year, do you truly trust him going forward? Or do you wait for the other shoe to drop just to say "I told you so"?

Because from what I read on this board almost daily, if he is anything but perfect (which no one is) yall won't trust him and will still call for Romo lol...

IMO he is better than yall say he is, and even if he is an All Pro this year yall won't trust him. Please prove me wrong.
I will it crow. I will trust him .He has to show it first.

Why do you care what a handful of laughable trolls think? Some people can never admit when they are proven wrong. Its no different than the Romo haters. The narrative simply changes:

-Dak cant throw for 200 yards
-Dak cant make the pro bowl
-Dak isnt clutch
-Dak cant throw for 300 yards
-Dak cant throw for 400 yards
-Dak wont be resigned
-Dak cant win a playoff game

yada yada yada.............All these dumb things the haters said have already been shut up. Now of course the narrative has changed to:

-talk to me when we make the championship game

Then it will be

-We will never win a SB with Dak

bla bla bla..............mindless trolls. Who cares?

Clearly not dominant enough. You're making excuse for some guy who plays on another team while trashing your own. Yep, the grass is always greener on the other side

Losers always find a way to lose...

GOOD-D-05b_randall_pick_six.gif

So 83 lost us the game? Because the pass went right through his hands.

And since Dak has never had a losing season then you certainly cant me talking about him. LOL
