Lol. Do you really believe that Dak is useless without him.
I said “ practically” . Meaning we no longer would be a threat. We’ve seen what our QB is reduced to without him. It wasn’t pretty. But yea, I’d call .500 ball practically useless.

I can’t disagree but the only light I saw at the end of that tunnel was the giants game. No Elliot and most of the starting O-Line sitting it out. He played very well, I was hearing that Moore was helping out with plays or playcalling in that game. 3 tds to the TE in that game. Was a useless game but it was against a division team that isn’t going to lay down.

Yep, injury is one thing. Suspension gets me paid back some money. Including upfront money.
I would consider alcohol treatment, fines and restrictions if he misses any games and things that would allow the team to opt out without any financial burden.
There's a line though. RBs are easier to find even though I think Elliott is on another level. You have to protect the team and also not put the players through distractions. He's fine until he gets drunk. And I really don't think the latest is even a huge issue, but you can imagine the potential.

Would be a wise contract and he will still get paid a boatload of money.

We dominated a 5-11 team . Impressive .. lol

Yea, without Elliott we could still dominate awful teams. What I’d call useless ..

We drafted 2 RB in this draft, the Cowboys typically don't take 2 RBs in a draft class,, one of the historians on this site might know the last time they did.
So sometimes the best answer to a question is what the team does.. @ OP.
2016 lol.

It's conjecture at this point. Unless he's suspended again, the value doesn't automatically get reduced because he got drunk and was an idiot. The baggage is what it is, but nearly as awful as some are making it out to be.
Only if you look at it from the repeat offender viewpoint and how many games that means.

If you are his GM or HC or a potential one, you have to be wondering 'why doesn't he get it'? Two red flags in college, one with his father moving to Columbus, rumored to be at the behest of Urban Meyer and two, throwing that fit after the Michigan game and saying "that's it, I'm going pro" like some spoiled child. Shows up at the draft looking like a rent boy, gets himself video'd in a bar spraying champagne on the crowd, that's reserved for the locker room with teammates. Is that all that bad? Of course not but it sets a pattern.

A pattern he followed at that parade while under investigation. That latest video isn't much unless you consider the pattern of behavior. Elliott is going to do what he wants to do and to hell with consequences.

And we can only guess at what happened at OSU to send his old man to live up there. It's not like universities are not willing to look the other way for star players, see Winston at FSU and Mixon at OU.

If I had a kid going to college or into the NFL to play ball, I would give them one of the soundest pieces of advice I could. Son, can't stop you from making bad decisions, just don't get them on a video. Just look at the NFL reactions prior to visual evidence like the Rice video and Hardy pics. It's not what it is, it's what it looks like. That's what they have to act on.

I also believe that's what will get Crawford. It's like when the Sepulveda film of the Kennedy assassination was revealed, exacerbated the reactions of Americans, even the ones that didn't like him.

How many nut jobs do you think are out there that would just love to get into the next Zeke Elliott film? Elliott needs to heed Parcells advice, you can't get into trouble if you're not there.
Just like he knew, the NFL is all about image. You don't have to add to it but tarnish it and we will make you pay.

Then you’re more easily impressed than I am.
It’s all good. I am not pro Dak but not against him. Am hopeful he finishes developing into what we need. He can play well. Let’s see if Moore can twerk this Offense.

"So many" =/= "most."

What am I dodging?
Close enough. Do you really want to split hairs over how much of a difference “so many” vs “most” means when
Most is more than half. So many is any number more than expected. This isn't hard.

Not sure why I have to admit to something I've clearly stated multiple times. It's not like I've backtracked. Your need for me to clarify something I've said over and over brings me back to the reading comprehension thing.

But for your sake, I'll do it again (read it slowly, check Webster's if these words confuse you)- yes, I'm mocking the, "so many," who believe Zeke's actions are beyond the pale.
Beyond the pale do you mean those concerned with what the NFL may do because that’s a very justifiable reason. If not, I haven’t seen most or “many” people in this thread overly concerned with his actual action, it’s more about his history coupled with this which is something you seem to have a hard time understanding.

BTW, glad you consider calling other posters a bunch of “women” to be an insult, you and Zeke would get along great. Let me guess though, that wasn’t meant as an insult and neither was “wussification”.

If you're Moore or Garrett, you want to run more or less of your offense through Elliott? He's going to want a lot more money and he's proven he is a risk for another time out. I think Moore has his orders to put more of this on Prescott, he's the one they want to be the star.

We’re all hopeful. Just calling it like I see it.
