Imagine our offense without Elliott , Cooper and any part of our Pro Bowl OL. That’s what we’ll be left with eventually if we pay Dakster Top 5 money.

This is why we need a Team Friendly contract for Dakster. It will allow us to continue providing as much of the supporting cast he needs.

I really don’t care about your questions. They had nothing to do with my post. It’s a lame attempt to deter my narrative.

I guess you forgot that Smith and Martin were still Pro Bowlers last year. And we saw how ineffective Dakster is without WR1.

That’s my point. We’ve already seen what he is without this Pro Bowl talent around him.

I think were going to see this team get slowly neutered if Dak gets top 5 money.

This is hilarious, but it's my fault for not being specific. I meant "post-injury". This escapability video of Wentz is from before he got injured. Show me any video of Wentz being able to escape after his knee and back injuries. I bet you can't. ...... Yet, Wentz got a new expensive $32 mil/season contract extension based on what he could do pre-injuries? :muttley:

Good luck with that.

you loss that bet
It takes 2 years to comeback fully healthy from a torn ACL. It's a miracle he did what he did last year. @1:35 just amazing @2:50 I think thats michael irving commenting...ouch[/QUOTE]
No. I didn't lose that bet. I actually won.

You didn't show me Wentz's ability to scramble or run the way he used to prior to his injuries. Plus, your video showed Wentz constantly having perfect pocket protection with his receivers being wide open. Too easy.

I wish Dak had consistent perfect pocket protection the past 2 years instead of leading the league in getting sacked and pressured. Why don't Dak's critics mention this?

Our window will be closing fast if we pay him Top 5 money. It happens to teams with more prolific QB’s than Dakster.

And why a Team Friendly deal is so critical.

(In bold^^^) You mean like how Dak led the team to a hard fought victory against all of the Giants starters during Week 17 this past season? You mean how Dak has a winning record without Zeke playing due to suspension? You mean you refuse to answer my questions because you'll expose your agenda and misinformation?

Fact check: We were 3-3 during Elliott suspension.

You really need to get your facts right before you step up to the plate with me.

Week 17 Giants game last season. Zeke did not play. That's another win Dak piled up without him.

It's becoming embarrassing exposing you Greg.

In 2 years it may not even be top 10 money.
Doesn’t matter. It’s always about where the deal is now. If he signs a Top 5 deal. They aren’t going to be saying it won’t be in a couple years. Lol

You said under suspension.

Here’s your words:
“ You mean how Dak has a winning record without Zeke playing due to suspension?“

The only reason Prescott "deserves" to be one the NFL's highest paid QBs is the climate.

QBs are not paid on equal grounds in terms of their overall value. Some are overpaid, all are paid at a base level because of the scarcity of talent.

That said, sitting here and debating about his "value" is such a complete waste of time.

He is not going to paid to his "value". Few QBs are.

Probably not but we can certainly argue he should be. And what the effects could be.

If it’s only about where things stand today then why are you talking about a window in the future? And why would the team not use up every penny of cap space every year?

But the reality is the future is always a consideration, and why contract negations are often so tough and protracted. If the salary cap we’re going to stay exactly where it is today, and Dak were going to get a guarantee to always be paid in the top 5, the negotiation would be very different, and the team would be much more reluctant to lock into a long term deal with considerable guaranteed money.

I am not following you.

The "should be" is a given mainly because of how things work, not how things are.

On a tangible level, no, he should not be paid among the game's best. But he will be because the climate.

I have no idea what you are talking about in terms of effects. Prescott getting paid more only has negative effects, not positive ones.

Those would be included with effects. Mostly negative.

If you’d be following that’s been my argument that he shouldn’t be paid with the top QB’s.

What climate are you referring to?
