Exactly. They have him for 2 more year PLUS the tag. This circus is starting at least a season early. He is insane. I would love to see the Cowboys sign Ajay and start fining Zeke for days missed. Hard ball. Unfortunately this will be a distraction and hurt the team. Exactly why you don’t draft morons like Zeke Elliot.
Me too so that Dak can fall flat on his face and then we wouldn't have to pay him

So Basically when there are 9 men fronts . . . Dak can Dink and Dunk. . . cool story

So basically you have no clue what you're talking about.

Zeke runs into league average fronts. This phony narrative has been debunked ad nauseam. Don't be one of those guys that makes silly comments.

Only good that can come from that is the enjoyment of watching all the Daksters jumping off a Cliff
Yea , their Slobbering agendas are really rising to the top of the bowl like a turd over this:)

All aboard renegotiating Prescott’s contract early but not Elliott’s.

Zeke suks. Leading rusher in the league is a scam. Lol

Dak doesn’t need Zeke. This is really going to be fun.

Drafting a RB at 4th overall with known character issues and who didn’t disappoint in that category is now coming back to haunt Jerrah, surprise surprise. He has been distraction since draft day and we have nothing to show for it. If he acted like he did while he was being investigated for DV and even after, while still playing under his rookie contract, I cringe to see how he’ll act after getting a huge extension.

You asked for it Jerry, we know you like to run a circus, congrats you succeeded.
If Tony was QB inb2016 we would have a Super Bowl already (reason he was drafted 4th) . . . so there's that

Instead we got Dink and Dunk. A Fraud who gets ALL THE CREDIT FOR COWBOY WINS. . . meanwhile anyone who understands football knows it's Zeke who should get . . . ALL THE CREDIT

AMAZING

In the grand scheme of things, the way Zeke has been used and his performance on how he's been used hasn't helped us win games. At least not in 2018.

Is there an argument that another OC could lend to Zeke helping us win games? Absolutely.

But am I willing to shell out the biggest RB contract to an RB who had more fumbles than rushing TDs and didn't help us win games last year? Hell no.

Freaking hilarious.

"Expected points added."

Beasley at 40 ... His actual production was 18 points. This graphic is nonsense.

Someone built a statistical model. It does not fit the actual data. It is a nonsense model. Predictions don't equal actual outcome here.

Folks...take a statistics class. Improve your numeric literacy.

You never know. Dak might excel without the leagues leading rusher. Losing the 4th rushing offense might elevate our 22nd ranked passing offense. Lol

Remember that Colts game you always hold only Dak accountable against? Always bringing up how we got blanked?

Watching it right now. Through the first two drives the Cowboys went 55 yards down the field on the first drive to have their field goal get blocked, and the second they drove 74 yards, before Zeke fumbled at the one yard line and lost the ball.

Incredible the narratives created that aren't factual.

Are Slobbering Daksters not supporters of Elliott?

Using isolated games and facts to support a narrative. How original. Lol

No worries without Elliott this year? The kid suks .

I can’t wait to see:)

Why shouldnt i not argue against it?

Give some reasons please.
It's his life, his body and his future. The owners will screw a player over the second they can. If he tore his knee tomorrow, all would move on, he could be cut etc. A plyer needs to get what he can, while he can. Fans saying he is greedy, turning on him etc are either selfish (want him on team playing for their own enjoyment) or jealous.

You know this graph was created using the the added win % and negative win % that Vegas uses, right? RIGHT?

Lol folks, don't listen to people that aren't knowledgable on subjects.

And to think that EPA only refers to how many touchdowns you get. There are some bad posts on here, this one might take the cale today, but there's still time.

Right.

Typical for Homers to turn against a player once they’re gone or resist.

I can’t stand Elliott personally but I don’t let my personal agendas blur his interest or his value.

Of course this isn’t good for the Cowboys. But it’s the business of the NFL. I applaud him for challenging. I think he has a good case.

Lol pot meet kettle. You use the Rams and Colts every single thread, yet "using isolated games to support a narrative".

I can't believe that just came out of your keyboard lol

I'm not saying Zeke should ask for the money.

But that doesn't mean Dallas should pay him.

How many fat contracts does New England hand out? Especially to RBs? Funny how players that go to NE know what is expected of them, and obviously they're okay with the compensation or else they wouldn't sign.

And yet...when it comes to becoming a Dallas Cowboy, nope, it's "only if I get paid an enormous salary." No hometown discount. No "I want to be a Dallas Cowboy because I want to be a part of a winner." Instead it's "I want to be a Dallas Cowboy because if I'm not going to be a perennial champion, I may as well get rich and take advantage of what I can make in advertising from being a member of America's Team."

Dallas needs to change the culture, period. When Jimmy got here in '89, it was forget about the lap of luxury in the dry heat in Thousand Oaks CA... we're gonna sweat it out in Austin for training camp. It was, as Emmett used to say, forget about being America's team. We need to be Dallas' team first.

We just can't have the likes of Zeke and especially Dak getting top-tier money. Sorry. Zeke has slowed down since his first couple of seasons and has put on a few pounds. Plus he's no Saquan Barkley off the field. The fact that he's a suspension waiting to happen prior to any given season should give this organization pause.

If he wants to go the Bell route, let him. I was all for letting Dez go.

Lol, another bitter Dak hater who hasn’t gotten over Romo and is dreaming of the past while making ridiculous matter of fact statements such as “if Tony was QB in 2016 we would have won a Super Bowl already”. Lol, I thought your kind was near extinction by now yet here you are.

Zeke should get all the credit? Zero mention of the O line which is where the credit truly belongs. Without that O line Zeke is just another slightly above average RB.

But next season he is 1 year closer to this "wall" the Cowboys admitted they believe RB's hit. They used this as justification to not sign Demarco Murray.
Plus lets say he has a down year... If he has an awesome year it will still hurt him because father time can't be beat.

Highest leverage is today and its not even close.

Three years into his career hitting the "wall" shouldn't even be a discussion.
