lol, so everyones giving up on White after 1 season & 1 preseason game. That's pathetic. Romo sat for 3 years. And people wanted him gone because he was shaky too in preseason & practices.

Rush looked good on mid range and short passes but his deep throws were terrible. I didn't think he looked good at all, I will say however that he looked better than last year. Either way, if Dak goes down this team will struggle to win one game.

I disagree bud as Rush gave us all a feeling of the good old days as his throws and play were accurate and his play was mature.
Personally I didn't feel that Panic and confusion in the pocket when Dak is there.
Is Rush a starting NFL QB wouldn't go that far but you put him in with the first TEAM and not the scrubs it wouldn't surprise me if our passing game improved greatly as he is not afraid to chuck it down field and its pretty evident his pocket presence and accuracy is also better than Daks.
Just my 2 cents.....

Ok for me I think Jarwin was the lone bright spot, he looked like he was into it and wanted to impress and he did good.
I feel sorry for him since witten will still get 95 % of the snaps lol.

aside from that pollard looked ok, cedric looked good, jonvea dropped 2 then made a good catch at sideline.
gifford looked good and wilson caught a ball thrown right to him, which isnt much but he did catch it.

Dak did move the team down for the usual FG lol but hey that is better than a 3 and out isnt it??

That is all I saw that is positive, I wont get into the negative stuff which there was plenty of, but that is to be expected from a JG team.
And it was the 1st PS game, so I will wait till next game to be critical.
Because Jason is gonna coach these boys up this week and they will stun everyone in the next game!!

81 Johnson I think will make the team. His drops were from looking up before securing the catch. I didn't think he looked bad, just a rookie making mistakes. He got it together and had some really nice catches, especially to the outside and keeping his feet in bounds. When he got pushed out of bounds, I believe was past 5 yards, but he shouldn't have even tried to catch it. Seemed like he thought about it but stuck his hand out anyways. I will agree he needs to focus more on the next game because if he does the same thing next week than it's a bigger issue.

This team has some depth at WR if Johnson makes it I would be surprised. I thought Wilson looked pretty good.

Rush’s downfield throws were bad. Trying to hit guys down the seam missed badly. He was decisive and good on intermediate. I’d give him a B but let’s not think he’d be better than Dak. Dak isn’t phenomenal but he has shown propensity to throw it better. It’s been the holding the ball and reading the defense that’s hurt him the most.

White actually has the best pure arm on the team. But I agree the game is way too fast for him. There were guys open on 3 of the 4 goal line plays (hate the rollout that tightens the field) and he missed all of them

I still worry about DT. Covington, who is supposed to be a factor at the 1T was brutal all night.

Jarwin looked good.

Rush ain’t great but he’s clearly much better than White.

You saw why Darius Jackson bounces around the league. He rips off a decent 9 yard run and then the next play all he has to do is put his head down and plow for a yard but instead he stops and tries to dance and ends up losing two yards.

Hope Wilson doesn’t have a severe concussion. He looks like a really solid #4 WR option for us.

I still like Guyton over Johnson. Johnson had bad hands.

Red zone offense still sucks.

Weber was disappointing.

Get anothe kicker in here for chrisakes to push Maher.

Just watched the first drive again. Amazing what a good offensive line will do. Dak was also decisive.

I truly hope we have better plans for the RZ. The third down play literally had four of our receivers simply running curls into the DBs. The Niner DBs didn't even have to move. Yuck...

You will, when you add Zeke,Cooper,Witten, and Zack to the mix.

We should never have cut Bailey.

Something really happened to Bailey in 2017 and he was really bad at the end of the season. That carried over to last years preseason so the boys decided to save themselves a few million dollars and move on from the shaky kicker. Bailey went on to be a 75% kicker for the Vikings while Brett was 81% accurate for us.
