CAN is the operative word. He also CAN be another Paxton Lynch or Christian Ponder.

Doubt it.

He's coming from a pro style offense at a big school and producing.

I don't see him having a super high ceiling but he could easily be Mitch Trubisky.

Drafting QB's in the first round isn't the crap shoot it used to be IMO. It's easier then ever.

Where it gets risky is when you take a guy from the spread that produced in a conference that plays no defense. Like for example Kyler Murray. That is a risk.

Kyler Murray may have more upside then Fromm but I think he also has the chance to fall flat on his face.

There have been too many guys that were considered much stronger prospects and that also played at a big school that have failed to simply dismiss the possibility. And that, coupled with the fact he may not have a particularly high ceiling, there just doesn't seem a lot of reason to go this route.

5-12 record with a 81.6 career passer rating.

WAY better than Dak’s 32-16 record with a 96.0 passer rating!

I believe Dak is better than Brissett (and it really isnt that close). That said let's not act like the talent they had around them was identical.

There is a good chance Brissett will start the beginning of the season for the Colts. The offensive line has been upgraded since he last started in 2017. He has a top 10 arm, and is far more accurate than Dak.

brissette is nowhere near good as dak. he would be cheaper. but there's a reason for that. he's not yet risen to the level of a jag.

Well, as far as stupid ideas go, this isn’t as bad as talking Romo out of retirement and paying him $30 million. Although that’s a pretty low bar.

Bigger , Stronger, more accurate, and definetly cheaper.

2 inches taller, same weight, and evidence points to him being less accurate. And, oh, by the way, I notice you didn't say Brissett was "better". That's really the key, isn't it, or do you just care about who looks better in uniform?

I know maybe 80% of this board hates Dak but the level of disrespect this guy receives is unreal.

Other than PAPPYDOG, I doubt even fans that don't care for Dak would take the OP of this thread seriously.

At the end of this season, see how many people still want to get rid of Prescott

Fromm is the guy as of now that I would like if we're picking late in round 1.

He can be another Dak and he won't need 34 million a year.

Sounds good. I'm gonna hit up one of my rancher neighbors for a nice hunk to put on the spit.

I remember doing the same thing with Troy Aikman people wanted him to come out of retirement. I mean come on even Randall Cunningham wore a star at some point I think it was like 14 different starters on the team after Troy Aikman. I guess I'm one of the few that understands how looking you were to find a quarterback so quickly after Tony. And people want to get rid of him LMAO

Fromm will be a top 5 pick. But I wholeheartidly agree. Let Dak walk. And give up three #1’s to get Tua, Fromm, or Herbert. It allows you to keep the rest of the team together, including zeke, and it saves you a boatload of cash. One of those 3 QBs would be an upgrade over Dak easily.
