Whether it was Hill or someone else, we really did need to draft a 3T for *next* year with Collins leaving and Crawford getting ever older.

Heath should have been out of the box long ago, but we came up empty on Frazier. And this year on Iloka too. Luckily it looks like Wilson is ahead of schedule.

But still it is a puzzle to me that we never took the opportunity to upgrade at SS with veterans still on the market who were a clear upgrade. It's the low hanging fruit to improve the team, but they refuse to pick it. And then we carry 5 guys instead. Do we really need Thompson or Frazier? Yeah, Wilson's injury put us in a short term bind, but even on final cuts "we like our guys".
What this team doesn't understand is you also need to find starters in free agency as well.

I disagree what you have to be the best to get credit. The dude is a football player. And people need people like him on there team. So many great opportunities have been taken away from him because of calls or penalties. You get some of those interceptions especially against Green Bay and your loving him
*ya, wasn't one of his interceptions yesterday negated by a zebra yellow ribbon award?

Of course, the more we can get starters through the draft, the more we can keep a lot of salaries down so we can pay the difference makers. And for the most part that formula is working very well. But an occasional moderately priced starter could make a difference. Hopefully Quinn will when his suspension is over.

It's the first game fam relax. But Heath graded out last year as the 5th worst safety as well. 17 games vs 1 for the other guys. Thanks for playing.

PFF is absolute garbage. I put no stock in anything these pocket protector nerds produce.
How come? How many games did you watch yesterday? Not the highlights but every play of the game? I watched 3 1/2. the whole jets game, eagles game, cowboys game, and half the new england game. So unless you are going through every game and looking at other players how can you compare them?

Stupid statistics like this don't quantify anything. They don't tell you how a player influences plays by properly adjusting to routes or setting an edge for another player. They don't tell you how a player influences a quarterbacks decision or type of throw. They don't tell you when one player is trying to cover for another player's mistake in coverage or misread of a run play.

Stats are for those who don't understand what they're watching.

And I have the red zone channel, so i see plenty of all the games. Albeit, I did leave the house at 2:15 to get to the stadium.

Granted some of the grades are a little off but are pretty spot on to who's good and who's bad. Heath is bad and we have wanted him replaced for 3 years now.

Heath made some plays yesterday. The complete lack of a pass rush was FAR more concerning than the secondary play. Eli had all day most of the time.

What was he doing here?

It's apparent that this keeven lardboi is pushing his buttfaced agenda in his selective editing in this brief video clip, #38 had obviously just completed another one of his HEATH-LIKE incompletion maneuvers,,,& mister lardboi was wishing he was in #55's shoes,,,er,,,sans facemasko_O

If it makes you feel better our defensive line grades were bad as well. Ty craw ranked 70th at DT. D law was 18th. everyone else was poorly ranked. What did heath do. cause an incompletion and almost knock out LVE. He had the worst run defense grade as a safety in the entire league. Which would be spot on, he was absolutely terrible yesterday against the run.

And this is why I put zero stock in PFF rankings. Anybody with a brain and half-trained football eye knows Jeff Heath played way better than either of the Giants safeties
