My two favorite passes today were the 37 yard dime to Gallup and the 21 yard touchdown to Cooper.

Those were accurate, big-time NFL throws; and proof Dak does indeed have excellent ball placement.
Yes, Dak has certainly improved on those "drop in the bucket" throws. Those 2 you mentioned are the ones I was very happy to see him complete. Those were his weak spots in the past. Kudos Dak, keep it up!

2 other games against who else the Giants and 1 game vrs a depleted Eagles team where Dak had big yards.
I mean when there's only 6 games in 3 seasons (including last weeks) for over 300 yards not hard to remember them off the cuff as they say.
Thanks to @QuincyCarterEra for posting this one:

”Dak Prescott is the only quarterback in NFL history to produce back-to-back regular season games of 380 yards passing, 4 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions.”

By history he means EVER.

You can’t keep discounting all these facts because of your eyeball test.

By can’t I mean should not.

He's "letting it rip" as Kitna is teaching him to do. He's throwing with anticipation and trusting that his receivers will be where they are supposed to be. It's like he's maturing before our eyes in year 4. :)

Not too many QBs have games with perfect Passer Ratings, so I'm not sure it can be done consistently, lol. Seriously, Dak has had plenty of games with good Passer Ratings, so I'm not sure I agree justification for your position.
Who said anything about consistently having perfect passing ratings as my justification of his average QB play? My point was he doesn't have games where he is hitting most of his throws and playing this good passing the ball with the yards too. I don't care about no dang passer ratings that's for stats people that trying to win online arguments. I'm just talking about his overall play where its not much anybody can harp on. As usual esp online when people want to disagree they get annoyingly literal about everything and act as if they don't understand anything that isn't spelled out for them. Maybe I messed up and confused you so I'll take some blame. Overall it is annoying when things are mainly took so literally ime when you're disagreeing but when you're agreeing folks can get the jist of the same things.

The problem is calling Dak average when he so clearly has not been average.
That's to y'all Dak stans. I think he's average so to me that's what he is just like you Dak fans think he's sooo good. I'm not trying to convince y'all he's average. I'm telling you what I think of him currently. Love it or hate it it doesn't matter because nobody is changing the others pov on him.

Oh, sorry. I thought it was true.

You have information that it’s not ?
Yes I know you're sorry but nothing I posted said anything about it not being true. Smarten up my fellow Boys fan.

It's true. The stat is only "bogus" and "made up" because it doesn't fit his agenda. His Dak hate was obviously triggered by it.
Why would I hate Dak and show proof of it instead of lying. Grown men looking for friends online smh.

The myth that he couldn’t make every throw has been completely busted.

I’m so sorry, haters. I am so, SO sorry.

His career completion % was 66.1 entering today. His career yards/attempt was 7.4 entering today. Both very good figures.

His haters bleated all offseason that those numbers meant nothing.

“EYE TEST!”

“JUST WATCH THE GAMES!”

“HE CAN’T THROW DEEP!”

“DINK AND DAK!”

Oh, and “it was just the Giants!” is not any kind of valid excuse. Dropping DIMES is dropping DIMES, no matter who’s in coverage. It’s not like he was throwing screens out there that our receivers were taking to the house.

I’m sure most of his haters feel like complete dummies right about now... at least the ones who have a shred of football knowledge in their bodies. Because even if they still want to argue that Dak was “average” from 2016-18, they were also SO SURE that Dak could never take that next step.

Welp, it’s early, of course... but it looks like Dak is poised to have a fantastic year in Moore’s pass-first offense.

Now, if these Dak haters are true DALLAS COWBOYS fans, they’ll learn to embrace our franchise QB instead of looking to tear him down every chance they get.

It takes a big man to say, “I was wrong.” I’m sure most of us will be gracious about it. I was dead wrong when I said we shouldn’t bench Drew Bledsoe for Tony Romo, because I thought we’d be throwing in the towel in 2006 by going with Romo. Whoops!
You are right he can make every throw, but what about guys like
Mahomes, Watson, Lamar Jackson, Rodgers, Favre, Marino, Vick These guys have cannons, it's like a whole different level.
Then you see guys like Brees, Montana, Rivers, Eli, Wilson, Big Ben, Aikman, Brady, Peyton Manning they have great arms and can make every throw varying levels of arm strength. QB is such a polarizing position. We fall in love with big arms, or sometimes we fall in love with accuracy/ smart QB.
It seems like there is no one right formula or mold to have a franchise QB. Dak is who we got and if you provide him the weapons he can take us to where we want to go.

And several of his incompletions, and even a couple that were caught but the receiver had to leap way up or otherwise adjust to make the catch, were early in the game, we have to remember Dak threw only 14 passes in 3 preseason games, Cooper didn't play at all, so there's gotta be some rust there...

Whatever did you mean by bogus? Made up?

You mad?
You're a grown adult correct? If so I don't think I have to explain what bog and made up in the context I posted it means. As far as being mad why would I? Y'all have to make sense when posting and not just post like teenage high school students.

Whether or not Dak is, or can be, a "great" or "elite" quarterback is immaterial, Jerry is going to sign him to an extended, big money contract at least by the off season, and likely far sooner than that, if Dak wants to (he may want to see if he can have a fantastic season which would make him ask for even more money).

Like him or not, we're going to have Dak as our starting quarterback for a long while, barring injury of course, and as he's not missed a game in over 3 years, that ain't likely to happen...

I'm not a "Dak fan". The guy has been brilliant with virtually no coaching. One of the best starts to a career in NFL history. And now he has some coaching and he had the second perfect passer rating in Cowboys history.
