Same

Imagine Replacing Frank Clark and Earl with Minkah and Clowney..
They are going all in. Not saying Dallas isn't (Amari trade, contracts). However, I think the one thing this team is missing is a playmaker in the secondary. This kid is 22, cheap, and I think fits right in. Dallas has 4 corners with expiring contracts the next few seasons. This makes sense. Just think the price is too high for the boys.

I'll put it this way. I think getting Minkah is like getting Amari but for the defense.

Whatever they’re going to do with Taco should’ve been a done deal by now. If he’s inactive tomorrow and still with the team I’m gonna be pi$$ed.

Only thing I can think of by getting him, you then allow Jones to walk and ride out Minkas contract until it’s up. You can then kick the bucket down the road to reup him in a few years.

If they don’t resign Brown they still have Fitzpatrick - Awuzie - Lewis at corner next year.
How do we know Byron is going to want the moon?

It would depend on the Cowboys opinion of him at CB. Reportedly they see him as a FS. They won't trade for him if they just see him as a Free Safety because they don't see Woods as a Strong Safety.

MFitz has below ideal arm length which is more of an issue at CB than Safety with regards to the Cowboys.

I think it would have to be a bargain type trade for the Cowboys to do it.

Even if they did ship taco often Miami plus a draft pick I don't think it would be enough

Question is do we really need him, would be a great addition short-term I'd rather take a chance on Donovan Wilson if he's healthy no doubt Fitzpatrick would be an upgrade I don't know if it would be worth the asking price

We won’t get Minkah in any Taco trade - it’ll be more like some dude w/ 2 broken legs, a torn labrum, torn pectoral, and a lis Franc injury.

What does it matter to you if he's inactive or cut?

Yeah no way does Jerry give up a 1st for him. It'd have to be like a third. Don't think it'll happen. But it makes sense to "kick the tires". I think one team will give up a 1st for him.

People should just separate Taco from MFitz.

Miami does not need/want Taco or other NFL players. They want draft picks.

It would need to be a 3 team trade but it would be easier to just trade Taco for a draft pick from some team and trade a different draft pick for MFitz.

That's if the Cowboys even have any interest in MFitz which seems unlikely because they wanted a Strong Safety in the draft and MFitz does not want to play SS.

The Cowboys like Woods at FS and don't see him as an SS. That leaves CB as the value of MFitz but that's a need for next year.

They might just wait until some contending team has a need at DE before trading Taco.

The trade deadline is Oct 29.

Having said that the Cowboys should show interest in MFitz to drive up the price if the Eagles or somebody try to trade for him.

We should’ve taken Juan T to be our FS and moved X-Man up to SS. Problem solved. But NOOOOOOOO, we had to take Captain Insctive because he and Rod talked every day like bestie’s.

I don't see a team giving a first for MFitz unless they're getting something else back like a 2nd or 3rd.

I would do this:
Cowboys give: 2020 1st

Cowboys get 2021 1st plus MFitz.

The Dolphins get to make a big splash in the 2020 draft but they have two 2021 first round picks due to the Tunsil trade.

They Dolphins top priority appears to be getting a QB in the 2020 draft. They do have 2 first rounders already but they probably want a WR to go with the new QB.

For the Cowboys their 2020 1st should be a late 1st and the Dolphins 2021 1st should be an early first.

That would actually be a good trade for both teams. The Dolphins give up some long term value but they really really need to kick start their rebuild if the GM and HC want to stay employed.

So MIA gets a low first in 2020 for former overall 11th pick and a high first in 2021? My 2nd grader wouldn’t do that deal in fantasy football.
