Is this a “save face” move by the Cowboys since they just admitted their mistake with Taco?

Smart move by our FO, he should be able to make at least a few plays vs the depleted Dolphins and get him some confidence

They had to let Trysten suit up and play this week as thin as they are on the D line.

If the guy can play, he should get the chance, and if he can’t I don’t know how it could help the Cowboys save face.

Didn’t get much from his college film but from vibes I get, I give him more hope than Taco

So when it comes out in the next few weeks that Hill is beating C. Williams like a drum daily in practice...will the board be having a heart attack because the 2nd round OL is getting abused OR praise the 2nd round DT for flashing?

Let’s hope it comes out that they are having mighty battles in practice

Exactly. I don’t know why people are acting like we haven’t seen him play before. I personally find these kinds of articles offensive because they treat fans like we’re stupid. If he has this elite get off and wreaks havoc in the backfield blah blah blah, then why couldn’t he do it against players who couldn’t even make their team’s practice squad?

He may be the greatest defensive tackle to ever play but right now he ain’t that.

I'm glad to hear this, Russell Maryland type, penetration.
I am as well, just hope he looks like he belongs and has some success. We can’t afford for his confidence to dive like we allowed Taco’s to do. We never put him in a situation where he could success in order to build him up.

Epic battles.

These aren't grown men we are talking about they are just kids. Both were selected late in the second round at 21 years of age.

I am willing to give them a little time to adjust.
Agreed. Too many fans think there is some necessity to make immediate and definitive judgements.

I expect him to continue allowing linemen to get his body turned unless Marinelli has been effective in teaching him how to use his mass better.
Be great if he has made solid progress, can contribute solid snaps
Unreal how good numbers on d.line quickly get decimated.....the nfl

he has the quickness, getting of the ball, desire, had a great week in practice... blah, blah, blah. Im sure all of those exact same things were said at some point about Taco.

Hill's skills are so great, we were saving him for the Dolphins game.

lol...seriously tho, where I wanna see him improve is stuffing the run. He was MIA all preseason. He needs THIS bad.
Exactly, he just needs to focus on one part of his game right now, and just elevating our run defense will get him on the field quicker.
Pass rushing skills are secondary, but will come in due time.
