The issue is the D line, particularly the interior. Has a tackle made a good play all year? When the opposing offensive line can drive your DT's several yards down field with just 1 on 1 blocking, it screws things up for everyone else.

The DB's aren't bad cover guys but there isn't one ball hawk in the group. That means you never change the game with a turnover.

Overall, the stats aren't bad for the defense particularly if you take out prevent defense time but you just get the feeling that a good offense will just light these guys up.

Can't disagree with your comment about them in the playoffs until they prove us wrong. However, I do disagree with them not being top 10.

The slow start by the D is concerning. We can't play like that especially against better teams. Hopefully, they will figure it out.

I was glad for some sacks. If Awouzie turned around he probably could of had a pick instead of a PI. Heath is a monster hitter but man does he whiff a lot.

Leighton wasn't drafted to be the MLB, that's Jaylon spot and was so all last year. Leighton didn't get rookie of the year on defense because Leonard was better and started all year. Leighton too over Lee spot when he got injured...... Care to tell us what spot Lee played last year before being replaced

Of course.... can’t generate a pass rush, so the answer is to get slower and fatter upfront. Magic!

Overall we are doing ok defensively but it should be much better. We get pressure but few splash plays (sacks, tackles for loss). We get int opportunities but cant seem to come down with them.

yup....you almost started to see that deer in the headlight look again today. If it wasn't for that phony penalty on the onside kick...Miami has momentum going into halftime.
