Thank you, Jason Garrett.
It is what it is. Our offense runs thru Elliott and why we made him the priority in off season in contract negotiations even when his contract t wasn’t up.

It’s a proven defensive scheme with few exceptions. Stop Elliott and our running game and force Dak to beat you. Not all teams have the ability or talent to fulfill the objective. The ones who have are 8-1.

If I'm the Packers I sell out on the run because I suck against the run and hope my talented secondary can handle the Cowboys' receivers.

Lol what? Zeke played better in the first 3 games than he did his previous 3 seasons. What in the world are you talking about? The whole entire offense had a terrible game. Especially the OL. You realize they get paid, too right? Where were they? Nowhere to be found.
First three games were against three of the worst rush defenses in the league. Hell, Pollard got 100 yards in one of the games as well. I thought a top paid RB is supposed to be a difference maker against good or bad defenses, if it’s all on the O line why did we pay him?

Because Jerry needs to keep his current big 3 to sell as many tickets and jerseys as possible. Ain't nobody coming to the Death Star to see Pooper Rush or Devin Smith.

Wow to some of the posts on here about Zeke. I guess he also overthrow Cobb in the back of the endzone, lets put the blame on him for that too.

He's still on pace for at least 1300 yards and 12 tds. He's still 7th in rushing coming into the week, and this is with a "poor" start. What people don't realize is zeke is a grind it out type runner with excellent vision. How many 3rd and 2's and 1's does this guy get to pickup first downs for us. He is clutch and reliable. I would also argue his fumble from the other day wasn't even close to a fumble. Zeke will be fine.
Lol, I keep hearing this “grind out runner”. He did a phenomenal job against the Saints! Thankfully his specialty isn’t long runs, breaking tackles or making defenders miss since he can grind out 1.9 ypc and fumbles the ball well.

Money well spent, I’m sure we’ll enjoy seeing him develop and improve over the next 4-5 years, he’s off to a great start. Plays well against the worst rushing defenses in the league and doesn’t show up in games that he was paid as one of the leagues top paid backs to show up in.

Maybe the O-line’s been trying to send Zeke the message that most of the $$ he got should’ve gone to them because 21 isn’t **** without them.
If that's the case.....can we say....."We ain't got a winning team".....and if you don't know....ask Pittsburgh. Stay out that man's pockets.

So here is the guy that the offense is supposed to run through. Here is the guy that we couldnt live without. Here is the guy that Dak couldnt function without. The unstoppable "best RB in the NFL".

Im just wondering when he is going to show up.

First 3 games was all Dak and the passing game. 4th game they put it in Zeke's hands and he folded up like a cheap suit. Worst game of his life.

Is this the guy that is going to lead us to a championship?

We should have let him rot in Cabo. This team needs a run stuffing DT and a ball hawking safety.

Paying a RB max money was stupid. Think it is bad now? Wait until year 3.

Maybe if he wasn’t such a cry baby entitled diva and didn’t sit out with two years left on his contract to be paid as one of the leagues top backs and actually played like it against teams that aren’t some of the worst rushing defenses than there wouldn’t be so many threads.

Games like Sunday night are why we paid him as much as we did, not against teams like Miami where Pollard even got 100+ yards.

Did his elite blocking go into the assessment that the forum unanimously thought Zeke was the #1 RB coming into the season?
They should.....given Zeke and the OL together.....there's some great things going, for the most part....a strength to the team. You lost me on the unanimously part. Lots of haters on the forum about Zeke....i.e. this thread for starters.

What is it with you and mens pockets? You do realize there are other players that need to be paid and throwing it all at one of the most expendable positions on the field isn’t a smart move. Some of you act like the salary cap isn’t real and have amnesia because you don’t remember the salary cap hell we were in not too long ago.

Maybe you can give a pregame speech to the OL, to not let D's like the saints dominate there a--'s. Just wait till they go to Chi town later in the year and Mack and company is waiting.

Zeke cares about himself and no one else. He's not a role model for a kid to look up to. That's for sure.

Where we going now? That was my question to you......makes no difference to me about the Zeke hate. I'm just on the board like you. We both have an opinion.....just like we both have...….. We'll you get it. I got it...….Zeke 2019 Fall Guy Nominee as I called it during the summer. Stevie Wonder can see it.

I agree the O line is a major factor and find it hilarious that when people tried to claim how much better Zeke was than Barkley that Barkley never got the O line excuse.

This is also why you don’t pay RB’s that much money. CJ Anderson came in and didn’t miss a beat when Gurley went down. Ajayi came in and helped Philthy win a SB. One rushing leader has won the SB in the past 20 years. It’s been proven time and time again you don’t need an elite RB in todays game.

Waste of a draft pick and total waste of money. He cried like the diva he is, refused to show up for work and Jerry caved. Now other positions of need may take a hit because they blew it on a RB that doesn’t show up in big games. Fantastic job Jerry!

Yeah Zeke got paid, he's never going to try hard again for the rest of his career. Way to go, Jerry.

Really? Where was he against the Rams when it mattered? Where was he against the Saints. Pollard got 100+ yards against Miami but people only want to talk about how great Zeke was in that game and against other piss poor run defenses.

I’m sure he’ll have another great game against GB’s pathetic run defense, as would Pollard if given the chance, and then we’ll hear how great Zeke is but when he lays another egg against the next team with a good run defense then his supporters will ignore it and point to games like the Packers, Giants and Miami.
