Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any who decide to get up and check in to this thread today.

Welcome to Monday morning everybody. On Mondays like this, I am thankful for work because nothing better then putting your head down and focusing on something when you have a game like yesterday.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, hope you are all doing well this morning.

Everybody, get off to a great start of the week. I'm going to close out the day and get ready for Tuesday. Wife had a Chicken in the CrockPot this morning and Lordie, it smelled devine! Looking forward to going home and having supper!

Everyone, have a great day!

Early evening Pops and friends. Sorry it took so long but I wasn't wanting to knock a new poster off the top slot until others had a change to greet him. I also had a hangover this morning/afternoon. You know that's a good game, right? Don't bother to look, they're still not apologizing to us on the DC official website. Only a Gruden has been fired so far and it's already... what day is it? Any who, I hope everyone had a decent day.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and good morning to any and all who decided to stop in this morning.

Welcome to Tuesday everybody! Nothing much going on with me today, just work and maybe make some dinner.

What's the good news from all of you?

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, good morning good people! I hope you are all doing well. Better then well, great!

Little nip in the air this morning. Winter is coming!

Everyone, have a great day. If you can't enjoy that kind of day, then just hang in there because all things pass. The trick is to just wait it out till you come through to the other side and see a better day!

Be well everybody!

Good morning Pops and all my little liebchens, I am getting in that Octoberfest mood because celebrating that in September when it's 100+ degrees is silly. I am not celebrating this weather change just yet since it's slated to go back to 95 on Thursday. I refuse to be fooled by the weather. Everything else? Sure, but not the weather.

Well, I am as close to being that 50/50 fan as I've ever been. I thought this day would come and the "all Jones, all the time" would finally wear me down and it is getting very close. I really do not care that they lost to NO and GB because he's not in the media as much and on the old forum, he was not as prevalent as these posters make him here. Everything that idiot says makes it here and now they've added Idiot Boy Child's stupid comments as well. No other fans of any sports teams on the planet have to put up with this. And I am sick of the required shots of him and his fellow hillbillies in the suite on home games and even college games.

I have fought the good fight for as long as I can and only a few of my friends that were fans remain so and it is all because of him. Were it not for the old forum and this one, I think I would have already crossed over but even that is losing it's hold on my fanhood. I will still post here because of the people but should I cross over completely, I will let that be known so folks know where I am coming from.

I signed on as a fan for a sports team with what I thought were standup men and this has deteriorated into a reality show with this jerk bringing in some players that made me look the other way too damned often. I can't even root for that old coot to go toes up because a bigger tool is waiting to step in. My days are numbered.

The Joneses may own and run the team, but they are NOT the Dallas Cowboys. The Dallas Cowboys are more than just the people in the owner's box. They're even more than the men on the field.

The Dallas Cowboys are the uniforms, the àura, the love of the fans, and the fans themselves. The Dallas Cowboys are an attitude that says, "Win or lose, we're better than you Eagles, Commanders, Giants, Forty Niners, Packers, etc., etc., etc. What makes us better? We said so, and we're the friggin' Dallas friggin' Cowboys!!

Runny, they have established themselves as the face of the team. Take a look out there in the Fan Zone at the amount of posting about the two of them, Reality might as well change that to the Jones Zone.

There's a lot of idiocy here in the Zone. People I know here don't think of JJ as the face of the team. In fact, most of the people here think he's a good owner, and wish their team's owner cared as much. Don't forget, we scrutinize every little thing they do, much more than outsiders would.

By "here", I mean in CT, not here in the Zone.. other than the first sentence, in which I wrote, "here in the Zone".

Morning, Pops and pen pals. Happy hump day! I'm loving this cool weather. Fall and Spring are my favorite seasons.

I find that I am tolerating losses much more calmly and with a "so what" attitude this year. During the off season I even put my season tickets up for sale. It's not because of the Jones or Garrett per se. I think it has more to do with reliving another episode each year with the same old plot. Get your hopes up only to see them come up short. It's the opposite of the typical movie plot where they look like the planet is going to be lost to overwhelming odds only to miraculously snatch victory in the end. My feelings aren't even stemming from the last two games. I'm happy when they win, but I felt this way going into the season.

Take care, everyone.

If he was a good owner, he would not have appointed himself GM and given his family the important jobs and had the entire family in on the job training. He said it all when he admitted to Costas he should have fired himself.....but he didn't. That, is not a good owner. Good owners make the necessary changes to give his fans the best team he can give them. Has this owner done that? Good owners hire the best coach for the team, not the best person for their own petty needs.

Any site designed to discuss a team is going to scrutinize every little thing they do but only this one deals with this family. But then no other team has a family like this one pushing themselves on the fans. As far as that clown not being the face of the team, what other member of the team is out there in front? They even refer to the stadium as his world.

And I also allow for changes within myself as factors in how I feel. I don't like football remotely as well as I used to because it no longer represents what it did to me, the ultimate team sport. It has become the "showoff" and "look at me" sport. It's all about posing and now they even run to the end zone to pose after a pick. I grew up with a sport that no longer exists. Players made plays, like they were paid to do, and got ready for the next one. They want to do that, grab a mic and apologize to that crowd when they fail to make a play expected of the least of them.

My friend, it's been a slow turning from full on fan, and far too over the top at times, to what I am now, a numb fan not caring whether they win or lose and the next turn is being happy they lose just because of that jerk. I fought this for as long as I could and did what I could to avoid him, as I truly do detest him, but it is harder here than on the old forum so I have to approach the Fan Forum with blinders on to keep from getting pissed off and that's not my idea of a good time. I am trying to have a good time a little too hard.

Morning Pops. Morning Fellas and Good Morning to all who stop in and visit with us this Wednesday Morning.

I hope all are well today. I myself am thinking about getting up and going to make another pot of coffee. No idea why but I'm having the damnedest time sleeping, these past couple of nights. Too much running through my own head I guess.

Gotta go get the Wife's Vehicle's breaks done today. Been telling here for a few months now that it needs to be done but it's never a priority until you make it one so that's today. Used to be that I would do this stuff myself but now, with all of the complexity involved with these vehicles, it's simply not realistic any longer.

Jobs, Leon, dbrp, Xelda, zrin, Trouty, ksk, RGV, Coach, RWB, Ranching, SW, John, Jan, Corso and Colo, hope everybody is in good form today!

Everybody, have a great day today, tomorrow we start on the downward glide, towards the weekend!

Morning Pops and friends. Thank you for the pep talk, Runny. If not for the fresh sting of Sunday, I would have gone forth and slapped the snot out of someone through my self perceived sense of entitlement.

I have given my best to the family business and saved it a great deal of money more than once. I could keep lawyers and conniving customer at bay through my gift of writing. No cheers, no pay raise or even a thank you. Same old, same old, same old. I celebrate every touch down and win with the Cowboys as a sense of accomplishment. It's wrong, but it's a guilty pleasure and way of coping with gender bias in the work place.. My writing skills don't show up here because I'm not coming in with a plan to defend a legal case.

I wish I could be more like Leon and some day I might. Coach, I get where you're coming from as well. I won't get into the specifics of Jerry's World, but I do get it. Instead I will encourage you to keep your antics up. Everyone here is capable of golden posts (except Maher) and you've put down your fair share. Sometimes your posts will be the only laugh some people have on any given day. Would you deny us your finest buffoonery? Certainly not! Umm, this is starting to look suspiciously like writings for the Bible that were intentionally left out. I haven't even gotten into the new wine yet. I'd better shut up.

Happy Hump Day everyone.

Ditto. No, really, ditto.

I'm trying, but my interest is starting to fade a bit.
