The last two weeks?

For me personally I had to just walk away from all the media and anticipation for upcoming games.
There is no way I could ever have seen winning the first three games in the fashion we did and then
laying a turd in the bed two weeks in a row in the fashion we did. It defies logic quite honestly
and at this point I;m just numb and unattached comparatively to how I was after going 3-0.

The ups and downs are too much take with this team. Just when you think they have one side of the ball figured out something happens on the other side that leaves you scratching your head. It wouldn't be so bad if it hasn't been 20 plus years of horrible luck, but now it's bordering on insanity.

I'm just wondering who else has gone a bit numb? It's kind of like self protection/preservation is kicking in.. Thanks Jerrah..
I have become... comfortably numb.

I think after the Green Bay playoff game in 2016 was what did it for me. We had a rookie QB/RB and won 10 or 11 straight. #1 seed and no one in the NFC looked like they could keep up except maybe the Giants but the Packers took care of them. And we went to GB and we dominated and this was without Dez. We play this certain style of football all year and then when we get to the playoffs, we play a whole other way. 3rd and 1 and driving the ball and what do we do? Throw it into the endzone. We have the best RB in football and at that time, the best OL and we don't even run. The second we settled for that FG to start, I knew something bad was looming. I will not let Dallas suck me in after that. I still watch because I am a fan and a fan of football in general but I will no longer believe in this team. This team is not capable of winning in the playoffs past the wild card round under Garrett.

The Cowboys put up 563 yards of offense, about 230 more yards than the Packers did, and your take is the league has Moore all figured out?

Turnovers and penalties were what held down the scoring, not the scheme, play designs or play calling.

This is why stats are meaningless out of context. How much of those yards came when we were down 28? A lot. Why do we constantly make mistakes? Because defenses have a handle on anything we do. We don't scheme or gameplan. It's a man beat man stale junk offense.

Giants put up over 500 yards as well. Who cares about yardage.

Unfortunately this is the approach as long as Garrett is the HC. Just numb and lost all sense of hope for a run until he's gone. Just waiting for Jerry and his offspring to wake up one of these days?? hope returns that very day.

Anyone who really watches all the NFL games and specifically this team, can see where we're going. All sides of the ball are struggling and this team has no recent history of being able to coach themselves into contention.
You can fix the offense but it's awful hard to win games when teams can run on you at will. Both our lines and LB's were getting dominated (punched in the nose) at home in a game with potential playoff implications and we didn't even show up. Yes we can win games against sub par teams on talent or maybe upset one or two during the season however when it comes to winning in a playoff atmosphere (with our current regime) against some of the top coaches and QB's in the league. I have a real hard time getting excited about this team. I'm a win it all or lose fan and red ribbons suck in my book.

Are you really saying that even though Cooper was open, that a ball that bounced off him and into the arms of a Packer DB happened because the Packers had the Cowboy offense figured out? Are you really saying that a team can give up 563 yards if it has the opposing offense completely figured out? And let's be truthful . . .he Packers didn't go into a prevent defense the entire 2nd half, and they certainly didn't after the Cowboys got a couple of scores. In fact, they didn't go into a prevent defense at all except maybe very late in the 4th quarter. If they had, the long TDs to Cooper and Gallup wouldn't have happened.

And let's be real here …. you are acting as if 563 yards is something that would be expected if a team gets behind. 563 is not remotely expected by any team in any situation. As for the Giants, they had 470 yards - 97 fewer yards than the Cowboys Sunday - and the Cowboys definitely didn't have the Giants all figured out, so it's not as if your example proves that a team can give up a ton of yardage and even though they have the opposing offense all figured out. The Cowboys defense has struggled most of the season.

I don't care anymore because I absolutely cannot stand the product the NFL has become.

Then why are you here at this site, and why do you watch? Why would anyone time with something they care nothing about?

For me. From the first quarter until the last quarter everything in between is called football. If you have the ball in your hands last in an opportunity to win the game and you don't that's when I have an issue.

Garrett is a symptom of the problems in Dallas. The real problem is sitting in the owners box with Johnny Walker Blue. He’s the naked Emperor and he’s surrounded by people telling him clothes look great.
This!

This and the giants games dont really matter to me. They're lose/lose games to me. But the other ones matter.

Not numb, but we used to be proud of this team.
Feels like the whole country knows Garrett has to go, except Jerry.

He was there with Jimmy, he knows what it took to win....
it boggles my mind that he won't admit it, and hire a real coach.

Reality set in for me when my miami started taking it to us in the first half. I knew we were going to have a tough battle against New Orleans and Green Bay. So these two losses do not surprise me at all. It also helps that I missed the Green Bay game because I was at a birthday party. So I'm not as numb about these two losses.

I had been numb for over 5 years but sadly I bought the cheese this offseason like a fool.

Doesn't seem to matter how much talent this team has, the product on the field looks the same.

And we all know why that is....

Because I'm addicted to Cowboys news and talk. Don't watch any NFL besides the Cowboys. Can't even watch much Cowboys because I don't get the Cowboys games locally. But unfortunately don't miss it. So I come here to keep up to date and join discussion

Numb for what? Say we beat NYJ and Philly loses to Minnesota. Then next week we beat Philly (like we tend to do lately), then we're 5-2 and they're 3-4. It could happen. Of course, the opposite could also happen, but my point is that it's too early to throw in the towel or be numb. Let it play out. I'm still excited for each game and will be as long as we're in it.

“Too early”? Where have you been for the last twenty years? Especially the last ten under Garrett.
