What more can Dak do to win some over?

Limit turnovers, limit penalties, and limit drops because all those things are within his control. Oh and he needs to fix the o-line and throw better even if he’s taking a hit. We need Cyborg Dak.

Why is it so important to the Dak lovers for everybody to like their QB? It really bothers some of you and it shouldn’t, but y’all take it so personal. Is other fan’s approval that important to you?
It is soo weird bro

Its ok to not like Zeke, Cooper, Byron Jones etc., but if you dont like Dak you are:

1. Trash

2. An idiot

3. A Fool

4. A hater

5. Stupid

Being a Dak homer is a mental illness

Super weird take. I’m not a Dak lover, I’ve just come around on him. And thought it made a decent conversation. I don’t care whatsoever about what or another fan thinks except for verdict and his Dez obsession lol.

I admit that I was ready to start looking for a new quarterback during last season's 3-5 start. Dak was having some truly horrific games during that stretch following a mediocre 2017. I also admit that I preferred, and still do, that Dallas hold off on any contract until he plays a whole season at the same level he did in 2016 or the second half of 2018.

However, other than a few throws behind receivers that he needs to work on, he's playing at a franchise level so far this year. He's fourth in passing yards, while having the third-best completion percentage among the QBs in the top 10 and being tied with Mahomes at the No. 1 spot among that group with a 9.4 average. His 80.6 QBR is the highest in the league. (If you prefer not to go by ESPN's QBR, he's fifth in QB rating at 106.0).

Those who deny that either have their minds made up or have their expectations too high for what a franchise QB looks like.
In fairness, the teams he's played against elevate his stats quite a bit.

Danny White was a good QB.
He had a nice career.

I wasn't denying that. Danny White was much like Tony. Broke down when he was playing his best. I suppose that happens to a lot of true passers. Their recognition improves with age. Their touch with the ball. But they're driven out of the league by the accumulated damage.

Danny still won some big playoff games and got us to the NFC Championship Game 3 times. If Tony would have done that I don't think I would have been as hard on him as I've been. It's all about post season for Cowboy QBs.

Was having a conversation with a friend, and we just wound up wondering out loud what more is there he can do? (other than win sb's etc)

Guys been practically on fire since Amari arrived, he's near the top in almost all statistical categories, (not just volume numbers) he's still running when need be, and he's attacking the middle of the field, and deep, when that was the biggest complaint. He's thrown plenty of beautiful strikes this year so far... so what else can he do? Honest question.
Win 3 Superbowls this year.

Oh you are one of those guys that thinks it was garbage time.......

Do you need me to explain what garbage time is? It's clear you don't have a clue by that stupid comment

The game was over that's the same reason why the Packers were putting out that pathetic offensive effort in an attempt to run out the clock. Or do you really think this defense was actually stopping the Packers after 31-3?

Yeah, but if he could have won one of those CC games, he would have been a SB winning QB. And perhaps would have been HOFer.

Team game. I don't blame or credit QBs for wins and losses. It's about how they personally play, same as any other player. Tony's play was not the problem in our playoff losses. He was the guy keeping us in games despite other problems.
