Mickey probably has the pull when it comes to media and plans to retire from his current employer which means if he doesn’t want someone around that isn’t blood to the organization in terms of media they are probably gone.

They could have cut his air time and overall responsibilities knowing he would lash out.

One thing I had noticed during the recent shows. Broaddus was saying "Mickey's absolutely right on this" a lot. Answer based on past history and differences, they seemed odd at first, and forced at worst. Now with him leaving entirely, it makes me wonder even more if something was up and someone had told Broaddus to present himself in a certain way.

Maybe it's nothing? Maybe just a coincidence? Maybe he just has a better opportunity lined up elsewhere?

If that the case, we'll hear something soon enough. If we don't, it invites speculation.
