..both are physical, strong and have good feet. Dak is more of a pocket passer and Lamar has faster wheels. Which allows for plays to become extended. Nonetheless Dak can still hold his own.

Last night, Dak played with no reference for having any wheels. Nothing, nada, zippo, ..not one bootleg keeper.

Fell right into Bellichicks plan, make Dak beat you. He lost.

...coaching plan or Dak doesn't like to pony-up?

Anyone who thinks Dak's strength is running is being foolish. Dak is not a great runner. Typically when he runs it's when he is left wide open. He can extend plays with his legs but he isn't even close to the Elite Lamar type runner.

Brady didn't play well either. The weather screwed up everyone.

Yes but trolls will use this as justification to fit their agenda.

Id put money on Dak shredding Buffalo Thursday. No QB was going to perform in that weather. I sure wish we hadn't been called for a bogus tripping call. We still had a ways to go but the refs robbed us of a lot of drama.

I'm not one that normally complains about refs, and if that had been the only tripping call, I probably still wouldn't. But two phantom tripping calls in the same game? That's a bit hard to believe.

Exactly. I bet Belichick talked to the refs before the game to be looking for tripping by our O-line.

Yeah, but isn't that just coaching?
You certainly can't excuse the coaches. We almost had another special teams disaster late in the game when that pooch kickoff was allowed to hit the ground and Pollard had to lay out in a dive to recover it. The players should know better, but it's still on the coaches to make sure everyone understands

Yeah, Dak sucks because he doesn't win as much as Brady. Geez, how many QB's does that apply to? All of them? lol

yep after each loses we can start throwing out the EBD excuse. (everybody but dak excuse)

Romo could throw and put up Td’s no matter what the weather was

I guess every time theres bad weather Dakota gets a pass. The excuses just don’t stop

I will attempt to put out less sodium packed stats but if there’s rain on game day that maybe challenging

Dak’s performances against good defenses are responsible for the hypertension

Is the "it's always Dak" mantra any better? Clearly there are games where the QB play was not a serious problem.

Vikings game was one of them. He played well. Most of the stats are padded by beating scrub defenses

He was average last year and at the end of the season he may still be mediocre. Buffalo is up next

I love Dak, but right now, I'd take Jackson. He's a wildcard QB. He's not forcing himself to be something he isn't (AKA a pure pocket passer). Now Jackson is a better natural athlete than Dak, and Jackson also has a coach that will make adjustments and fit his QB's need, however, Dak has had opportunities to make better decisions.
Prescott will be here in 5 years, Jackson more than likely won't. Guys that play the game like Jackson don't tend to be all that successful in the playoffs. In my lifetime I've never seen a pure running quarterback win a Super Bowl until Russell Wilson, and he's not really a running quarterback because his running mostly consists of running around behind the line of scrimmage.

Jackson is Kaepernick. He lasted about 3 years, and that's a long time for guys like that.

I'll take Prescott any day over Jackson.

Let’s not forget that the Goat only put up one short TD after the punt block, and that was against our dud defense, not the #1 defense in the NFL. Weather was huge, even when receivers looked open. Some hideous passes sailed sideways in the wind by both QBs.

In the weather, the teams were closely matched ................. except for special teams and a couple of atrocious penalty flags that stymied drives, one in scoring range. Our UN-Special Teams was the real culprit, even if you choose to pick at other things and people.

Remember when everyone thought Mike Vick could walk on water?

Didn't last long either.
Mike Vick, Randall Cunningham, Colin Kaepernick.

Those guys won't be able to run after a few years from all the injuries they'll sustain.

It's exciting while it lasts, but if you're aspirations or Super Bowl the averages say that type of quarterback won't be successful.

I'll take the pocket passers, and smart runners like Prescott any day of the week.
