Having a nagging injury takes it toll. I'm not too concerned about him. He got just 2 targets, but Prescott spread the ball around. At least they weren't trying to force it to him.

If I'm not mistaken, none of the WRs got more then 1 rec yesterday. We used the TEs and the Backs yesterday, in the passing game. We should have been doing this all year, to be honest. Doesn't mean you have to do that every game but you give teams something to think about, one more thing to prepare for. That helps and that's something that this coaching staff should have been setting the table for from day IMO.

lmao, Amari Cooper is playing through an injury to just about every part of his body and is still drawing double coverage.

Lots of reasons for hand wringing but this ain’t it

He had one catch yesterday. Dropped another one. He only has 1 td in the last 5 games.

Road games and top corners seem to be this guys kryptonite.

Yes, I know he saw some bracket coverage vs the Rams, but that is not something unique to him. Deandre Hopkins gets it too but he has a minimum 5 catches in 17 straight games (NFL record).

If we're going to beat Philly, he's going to need to wake up from this slump. I don't want to be sitting here a week from now trying to figure out Greg Ward Jr. outplayed him.
Garrett "coached him up"

Amari took blanket coverage and opened up the field for the rest... it's a team sport, add to it both him AND Dak are playing injured. We beat the snot out of the team that sent us home in the NFC conference game... smile and look ahead to Philly... Coop kills them as they can't cover him even banged up.

Actually he opened up the field for Zeke. We ran the football down the Rams throat. He will ne needed against the Eagles.

Lets tell the rest of the story like he has a pulled groin he's been playing through and a ankle issue on the other leg and a shoulder injury he's been playing through for the last month. It's not because he's tired that he takes himself out of games for a series, it's because of those injuries. It's funny, not ha ha funny, that prior to these injuries he was receiver everyone wanted him to be, but when he been playing through injuries, as the saying goes, taking one for the team, people want to say he's fading.

Still haven't figured out how to post a table with columns that line up. Images for that matter. My web security settings are complicated.

I like the 3 dimensional game plan. Keeps the other team honest on D.

he's trying to play through injuries, it's had a major impact on the deep game

he's always dropped too many passes

let's see if he can heal up

I just don't think he's healthy. Regardless of what the injury report says. I think he's hurt and doesn't want to sit for fear of losing money in contract talks. He should have a bigger role in the offense, think he's just physically limited with what he can do route running wise.
