He is probly sore. Precaution. Get it treated and he will he ready to go. We likey won’t see him running with it. Which I think made us work well last week. That threat of him running freaks defenses out.
Yeah they really need to do more of it....well when he's healthy anyway.

They're saying the injury occured in the middle of the 1st quarter. And he had a couple of runs well after with plenty of contact. Late in the 2nd and a 4th and 1.

But maybe it got worse. I'm not panicking.

adreneline probably kicked in too....im sure he is sore but as long as there is no structural damage then hes gonna be fine....now if there is damage thats a different question but hard to say with limited info at this point

Breaks games open and and just burns defenses up. They think they have every one covered and then boom. 7 yards plus. Lol. He may still do it this weekend but I don’t trust the way the egirls are gonna play this.

I call BS on this entire report. If you were the HC of the Dallas Cowboys and you had a win or go home game coming up with a Division Rival, would you tip off the other team to an injury that might limit the teams ability to throw the ball in such a public manor? Might that not be something that could be characterized as, oh IDK, monumentally stupid?

Garrett has his faults as a HC but I've never viewed him as stupid. I think this is a step up. I think the Cowboys might be trying to sell the idea that we will be running the ball, coming off such an effective run game against the Rams. Cowboys, in actuality, might be trying to create and edge for Dak and the Passing game against the Eagles.

That’s what I thought. Make Dak seem hobbled and injured. Maybe make them change the game plan a bit if Cooper Rush has to go out. Or.... if Dak goes out, we make it seem like he won’t be as sharp as usual, then when he trots on Sunday. Boom! Passing game is on fire. Jason Garrett wouldn’t even talk about Dak’s finger earlier this week. Why would he openly talk about his shoulder now? Fishy.

I haven't read all the pages but he had one option run where he got put down and laid on pretty hard. First thought was "shelf that."

I remember this play and thought that Matthews used his body weight to land on Dak like defenders do on a sack, which he can do with Dak being a runner and not a passer. Maybe this is why they don't want to run him so much like people are calling for. Ya think?
For sure. I think he's pretty durable and should run here and there, but he's not a running QB.

Garrett now has his excuse, just like losing Romo in the 2013 finale and for the season in 2015. Will it be enough to convince Jerry?
